Mary Grace Jedaver Pancho Opingo

The Lady Behind the Sash and Crown


An executive director at Let's Talk Entertainment Inc., one of Australia's top entertainment
companies, is Jedaver Opingo. She came from a modest background and chose to study BSIT at
STI College Cotabato to fulfill her aspirations. Jedaver is an Executive Director of Let's Talk
Entertainment Inc. and a former IT professor at STI College Cotabato. She participated in a
number of beauty contests before winning Miss Progress International 2017 in Italy. Jedaver is
the founder of Caravan for Progress: I Love IPs, an effort to empower members of the Rif
mountain tribe, as well as an Executive Director of Let's Talk Entertainment Inc. She competes
in beauty pageants and touches people's hearts through her projects, inspiring individuals to be
their best selves. She is confident to make a positive difference in the society.

Mary Clare Inonog

Reflections from 22 Rejections


After six years, 24 applications, and 22 rejections, Mary Clare Inonog, a two-year STI College
Taft graduate with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Services, realized her dream of working as
an international flight attendant. Jedaver is an Executive Director of Let's Talk Entertainment
Inc. and uses her efforts to encourage others to be the best versions of themselves. She is certain
that she can change society for the better with perseverance and hard work. Clare worked at
Pancake House, Solaire, a call center, and as a career adviser for her alma institution throughout
her time at STI College to sharpen and enhance her talents in the hospitality sector. These
experiences helped her grow as a professional in the service industry, giving her an edge in the
competitive field. Mary Clare Inonog encourages fresh graduates to not be afraid of failures and
to embrace them as part of the journey to success.

Michaela Mendiola

Upgrading Her Game

850 students from 26 STI campuses across the country graduated from STI Senior High School's
inaugural class, including Michaela "Ella" Mendiola. She decided to enroll in the Senior High
School (SHS) program and pursue her interest for information technology (IT), specializing in
mobile app and web development under the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track. She
currently works as a Technical Support Representative because to the competitive advantage her
SHS training brought her in the profession. Ella Mendiola was the class valedictorian at STI
Senior High School, and one of her most treasured memories was giving her speech and
accepting the Department of Education's Challenge for Senior High School graduates. Youth can
gain a lot from senior high school, including the chance to work abroad, pursue additional
education, and catch up to international levels of learning. Ella is saving money while working as
a Technical Support Representative at SPI Global in order to become financially independent
and finish her BS Information Technology program.

Mildred Deboque

The Ticket to the Road to Success

Mildred Deboque's eight years of college gave her the opportunity to jumpstart her career. She
graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, an Applied Programming
certificate, and an Applied Computer Science diploma. She accepted a standard employment
offer as the school's Registrar after graduating, where she gained valuable experience in
communication and interpersonal skills as well as organization. She also acquired the crucial
abilities and principles, including integrity, humility, and honesty, that would advance her career.
Mildred is a resilient woman who never gives up, eight years and three academic successes later.

Arielle Jazmine Llanes

The Artisan Soap Maker with a Cause

In order to give back to her family, friends, and the community, AJ Llanes founded Natureals
Bath and Body Products, an organic, handmade, and natural line of skincare products. She
created a market for her goods after being motivated by her teachers' individual entrepreneurial
experiences. Her soaps are contained in an eco-friendly pouch made by regional craftsmen to
support both their livelihood and the environment, with an emphasis on generating zero waste
packaging. Her efforts have resulted in articles on her appearing in periodicals and the Philippine
Star. A recipient of the 2018 STI Distinguished Alumni Award who gives back through her
business is AJ Llanes.
