Michaela Mendiola
850 students from 26 STI campuses across the country graduated from STI Senior High School's
inaugural class, including Michaela "Ella" Mendiola. She decided to enroll in the Senior High
School (SHS) program and pursue her interest for information technology (IT), specializing in
mobile app and web development under the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track. She
currently works as a Technical Support Representative because to the competitive advantage her
SHS training brought her in the profession. Ella Mendiola was the class valedictorian at STI
Senior High School, and one of her most treasured memories was giving her speech and
accepting the Department of Education's Challenge for Senior High School graduates. Youth can
gain a lot from senior high school, including the chance to work abroad, pursue additional
education, and catch up to international levels of learning. Ella is saving money while working as
a Technical Support Representative at SPI Global in order to become financially independent
and finish her BS Information Technology program.
Mildred Deboque
Mildred Deboque's eight years of college gave her the opportunity to jumpstart her career. She
graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, an Applied Programming
certificate, and an Applied Computer Science diploma. She accepted a standard employment
offer as the school's Registrar after graduating, where she gained valuable experience in
communication and interpersonal skills as well as organization. She also acquired the crucial
abilities and principles, including integrity, humility, and honesty, that would advance her career.
Mildred is a resilient woman who never gives up, eight years and three academic successes later.
In order to give back to her family, friends, and the community, AJ Llanes founded Natureals
Bath and Body Products, an organic, handmade, and natural line of skincare products. She
created a market for her goods after being motivated by her teachers' individual entrepreneurial
experiences. Her soaps are contained in an eco-friendly pouch made by regional craftsmen to
support both their livelihood and the environment, with an emphasis on generating zero waste
packaging. Her efforts have resulted in articles on her appearing in periodicals and the Philippine
Star. A recipient of the 2018 STI Distinguished Alumni Award who gives back through her
business is AJ Llanes.
