3. Attendance Checking  Checking of attendance
4. Reviewing of the previous  The teacher will ask students to make a recap of the
lesson previous lesson
Questions:
1. What is the difference between heat and temperature?
2. What device is used in determining the temperature of a body
B. Presentation of the lesson
 Motivation Photo Analysis
 Learners will answer YES if the pictures shows
heat transfer and NO if the picture doesn’t show
heat transfer
 Each photo are copied from

 Activity Group Activity
 The teacher will group the learners into 6 groups
Warm Me Up, Cool Me Down
 The teacher will distribute laboratory sheets where they
could read and follow instruction in the activity given.
 The teacher will flash the instruction on the board and
elaborate it to the class for the learners to be guided in their
activity
 The teacher will set the rubric in scoring the activity of the

Guide Questions
The Teacher will facilitate and ask some questions.
1. In which set up did you find changes in the temperature of
water inside the containers?
2. In which set up did you NOT find changes in the
temperature of water inside the containers?
3. What then is the condition necessary for heat transfer to
take place between objects?
 Abstraction Discussion proper:
 The teacher will going to discuss the lesson through power
point presentation
The models of how do heat transfer is from one
object to the other
1. CONDUCTION
2. CONVECTION
3. RADIATION
 The teacher will present an example of each of the mode of
heat transfer.
 The teacher then will ask the group to come up their own
example.
 The teacher will explain to the class about the positive use
of internet for them to be guided when they try surfing the
internet.
 Application Individual activity
The learners will do the activity entitled

The teacher will post a picture and the
learners will going to analyze and identify
what are examples of situations that
illustrates heat transfer. The learners write

This activity applies knowledge of content within
and across curriculum teaching areas
The teacher will check and discuss their answer
