Brief Summary:
The HR supervisor's responsibilities include interacting with recruiting agencies, promoting job
opportunities, arranging and creating training programs, properly tracking hours, and handling payroll
and employee relations. The HR supervisor should be able to balance many jobs while maintaining a
good attitude. The Human Resource Development Supervisor will be in charge of overseeing and
managing training, learning, and development programs, as well as necessary compliance training
activities.
Work Activities:
Assist in the organization, planning, and coordination of efficient and effective recruiting
competitions. This will entail organizing meetings and interviews, as well as offering advice
and direction to selection panels in accordance with applicable laws.
Coordination and implementation of an efficient onboarding process for new employees,
including communication with managers and other important stakeholders.
Support the management of sickness absence in accordance with relevant Assembly
Commission policies, such as updating and maintaining data, monitoring and reporting on
sickness absence levels, providing statistics for monthly reports, and coordinating medical
reports with the occupational health adviser and staff support service.
Assist managers and employees with their performance management responsibilities.
Give managers and staff timely and accurate advice and guidance on a wide variety of Human
Resources rules and procedures, obtaining assistance from the HR Services Team Manager and
senior HR manager as needed.
Assist with the assessment and development of Human Resources policies and procedures,
which includes conducting research, liaising with other organizations, and taking into account
regulations and best practices.
Maintain, distribute, and administer HR management information in accordance with data
protection rules and procedures.
Assist with administrative assistance for disciplinary, grievance, and dignity at work
investigations, as well as return to work interviews.
Update and maintain data related to vacancy management, including employees in post
management within agreed complement, aiding in the preparation of management information
sheets, and ensuring that information is maintained correctly and in accordance with regulatory
requirements.
Liaise with a variety of recruiting companies to place agency employees.
Collect and keep correct Equal Opportunities information for statutory returns, ensuring that
data is handled appropriately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
Coordination of learning and development (L&D) activities such as preparing L&D events,
responding to L&D enquiries, processing L&D bills, and following up on training actions such
as evaluation/feedback, etc.
Assist the HR Services Team Manager with the upkeep of the integrated Payroll and Human
Resources Management System.
Staff should be given operational advise on the various software products utilized in the HR
Office.
