The Seal of God and The Mark of The Beast
The Seal of God and The Mark of The Beast
The Seal of God and The Mark of The Beast
Let no one deceive you, upon this hangs your eternal destiny!
At the end of time, the world will be polarized into two groups. Some will receive the seal of God, while others,
the mark of the beast.
Before the unleashing of the Apocalypse, God will identify His children, putting a sign upon them to protect
them from the punishments reserved for the wicked. Says the Bible: “And I saw another angel ascending from
the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was
given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have
sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” (Revelation 7:2-3 KJV)
‘The Seal of God’ is an invisible identification that God puts upon those He receives as children, that is, those
who receive the Holy Spirit for having heard the Word and believed in Jesus Christ. Says the Bible: “In whom
ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.” “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye
are sealed unto the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30 KJV)
Now, how can we know who will be sealed, and who will not, and why? And the key question is, In what ways
can we grieve away the Holy Spirit? Doubtless, by disobeying God and transgressing His commandments.
Jesus said: “If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot
receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall
be in you.” (John 14:15-17 KJV)
In Isaiah it is said: “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.” (Isaiah 8:16 KJV)
And John reaffirms: "And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone
claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the
truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are
living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:3-6 NLT)
Video the Passion of Christ: “The Commandment that I give you before I leave is this: love one another as I
have loved you. That you also love one another.”
Jesus kept perfectly, every single commandment. Otherwise, He would have been a sinner, and as such, He
could not save us. Even more, Jesus not only kept the commandments, but He taught us to keep them,
interpreting the spirit and the scope of the law. He said: “You have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU
SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court. "But I say to you
that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court… You have heard that it was said,
'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for
her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:21-22; 27-28 NASB)
Jesus taught us to keep the Law. Regarding the Sabbath, for example, He said: “So then, it is lawful to do
good on the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:12 NASB), Thus, if something is “lawful”, if something is “legitimate”, it is
because there are other things which are not legitimate or permissible, because they are not lawful to do on
the Sabbath. Jesus, as ‘Lord of the Sabbath’ (Matthew 12:8 KJV)’, taught us which things are permissible to
do on the Sabbath, and which things are not.
Besides, He was very clear when He said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall
in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least
commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto
you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in
no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:17-20 KJV)
It is evident, that in order to receive the Holy Spirit, we should be in harmony with the divine mandates. The
Bible says: “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given
to them that obey him.” (Acts 5:32 KJV)
Now, if all the commandments are important, to the point of them being written in STONE, there is one, in
particular, which depicts the “Seal of God,” that is, it reveals His name, His office, and jurisdiction. Only one
commandment makes reference to God’s authority as our Creator: “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it
holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God:
in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor
thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD (His name) made (His Office:
Creator) heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is (His Jurisdiction: The Universe), and rested the
seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” (Exodus 20:8-11 KJV).
The commandment begins by saying “Remember”, this implies that it had been given in the past (which
stands to reason, since the Sabbath was given at creation), it also highlights the past (because His people
should never forget this holy day).
In effect, if we analyze the creation narrative, we will see this same expression that God “blessed” and
“sanctified” the seventh day in His honour as Creator, from the beginning - when there was not a single Jew
- before sin entered this world: “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And
on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his
work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had
rested from all his work which God created and made.” (Genesis 2:1-3 KJV)
Sabbath keeping / is not only prescribed in the Old Testament./ In the New Testament, we also find Jesus
keeping this commandment: "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom
was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read." (Luke 4:16 KJV).
Jesus kept and taught how to keep this as well as all the other commandments, saying to those inclined to
ignore this purpose: “The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man
is Lord also of the sabbath.” (Mark 2:27-28 KJV)
Besides, Jesus said, regarding the persecutions that His church would suffer at the end of time: "But pray ye
that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day." (Mateo 24:20 KJV)
God is very clear when He says: "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15 KJV)." but if thou wilt
enter into life, keep the commandments." (Matthew 19:17 KJV). "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not
his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." (1 John:2:4 KJV).
Even more, Jesus highlighted the importance and validity of the Old Testament /in His parable about
Lazarus and the rich man, saying "If they hear not Moses and the prophets,/ neither will they be
persuaded…" (Luke 16:31 KJV)
And this is so, because "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8 ESV). "for
it is you, O LORD, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.” (1 Chronicles 17:27 ESV). "And God blessed
the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and
made." (Genesis 2:3 KJV).
This is why, even in the New Testament, after the death and resurrection of Jesus, we can see the disciples
still keeping the Sabbath: "Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned
with them out of the scriptures," (Acts 17:2). "And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and
persuaded the Jews and the Greeks." (Acts 18:4 KJV).
The same apostle also said: "So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has
entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.” (Hebrews 4:9,10 ESV)
Did you know that the Sabbath is the only day that God, besides sanctifying it, gave a name to it, whose
meaning is, in all ancient languages, rest? _The Spanish term [sábado, referred to English as] "Saturday" [is
biblically called Sabbath] and comes from the biblical Latin sabbătum, this from the Greek (sábbaton), this
from the Hebrew (shabbat), [which means] "rest", "rest day", which derives from the verb shâbath: [which is]
"to cease [from work], "Rest", or keep the Sabbath", and this from the Akkadian šabattum, [which also means]
"rest". It comes from sa bot in Sumerian: [whose significance is, pay close attention here…] “it calms the
heart”. (Wikipedia)_
We can abstain from lying, killing, and committing adultery because these practices violate our ethics, or
because governments oblige us. However, he who rests on the Sabbath does so because he or she
recognizes Jesus as Creator and Redeemer; and worships Him on the day that He has blessed and
sanctified, that is, that He consecrated for our rest.
This commandment has played a role in identifying the true children of God from ancient days. The Bible
says: “I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my
sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.”
(Ezekiel 20:19,20 KJV)
Now… How important is this? Consider the following text, bearing in mind that a Christian is a spiritual
“Israelite”, because he or she is a part of God’s chosen people through Christ: “And the LORD spake unto
Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is
a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth
sanctify you. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely
be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six
days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any
work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the
sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and
earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an
end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger
of God.” (Exodus 31:12-18 KJV)
Although the threat of the death penalty, for many of us, can be difficult to receive, we can understand that, for
God (who wrote His commandments in stone), the matter of the Sabbath is of no small importance. He
established it as ‘sign of the eternal covenant’ between him and His people, and we can be sure that, in
God’s plans, the one who knows this, and continues to trample on his holy day, will not live, because God is
eternal, and He doesn’t change.
It is clear that the Sabbath, is the day that God blessed and sanctified from the beginning of creation, and in
His honour as Creator, it was instituted as a sign of the eternal covenant between Him as His people, and this
is the sign which identifies those who purpose in their hearts to be obedient to the commandments of God.
Now, what is the mark of the beast?
The mark of the beast is justly the opposite to the seal of God, and it will identify those who, rejecting the
salvation offered by Jesus, unite with the devil in his rebellion against God’s law.
Jesus refers to this, in relation to the signs announcing His second coming, and the end of the world: “When
ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy
place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let
him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the
field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in
those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be
great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And
except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days
shall be shortened.” (Mateo 24:15-22 KJV)
What we will now show is that both the ‘mark of the beast from the book of Revelation,’ and the
‘abomination of desolation’ from the book of Daniel, refer to the imposition of Sunday as a mandatory
and global day of rest …
Video of Pope Francis: “Maybe the hour has come in which we should ask ourselves if working on Sundays
constitutes true Liberty.”
The book of the prophet Daniel is found in the Old Testament, and it was written more than 2500 years ago...
But beyond the wonderful ability of God to declare the end from the beginning, we must try to understand
what is ‘the abomination of desolation’, because this will mark the beginning of the great tribulation in the last
days.
‘Abomination’ is something that causes disgust, something hateful, or detestable, something that is repulsive
to God because of the evil that it contains, and it is ‘of desolation; because, precisely, this is what will unleash
the apocalypse.
If we give heed to Christ’s direction to read the prophet Daniel, we will observe, that there is a power identified
as the “king of the north”; it reads: “...therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against
the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the
holy covenant. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall
take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And such as do
wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be
strong, and do exploits.” (Daniel 11:30-32 KJV)
Though we might not comprehend all that is said here, we can understand that the “abomination of
desolation”, is something that is against the “holy covenant.” And, as we have seen, that “holy and {eternal}
covenant” is the Sabbath as a day of worship to the Creator; thus, the “abomination of desolation” will be the
enforcement of another day of rest, against that one established by God.
Video of Pope Francis: “Pay attention to the Sabbath to sanctify it. We find the sense of authentic rest in the
words from Exodus. God made the world in six days, and rested on the seventh day. This rest is God’s joy
over His creation, which was very good. For us, Christians, the Lord’s day is Sunday…”
In Revelation, this is defined as the ‘mark of the beast’: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or
sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Apocalipsis 13:16,17
KJV)
You might be wondering… ¿Why is a day of rest so important? Or Who is the Beast of Revelation? or ¿Why
is its mark the enforcement of Sunday as a mandatory Sabbath?
The importance of the day of rest is connected with the matter of loyalty. That is, the decision that
each one may take regarding the Sabbath, will show his or her obedience to God or to his enemy. All
of this Will be communicated in the matter of faith, and will declare in whom we believe, to whom we
give obedience, and definitely, whom we worship; just as it was when Adam and Eve were forbidden
to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Resting on the seventh-day Sabbath shows that we recognize God as our Creator, and gives expression to
our decision to obey His commandments. However, in choosing to rest on Sunday, we are obeying the
commandments of men who stand in opposition to God. The latter option, in principle, may be more
convenient, but brings us into rebellion against God, and exposes us to His judgments.
This is also reflected in the great message of warning that God sends to this world, in the figure of angels that
fly in the midst of heaven, heralding solemn war nings: “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven,
having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred,
and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, «Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of
waters.»” (Revelation 14:6,7 KJV)
By exhorting us to “worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of Waters”, we
see a clear reference to the worship of the Creator, and this includes the Sabbath day which glorifies him.
Therefore, the following messages warn us to leave the Babylonian deception and to not receive its sign of
submission, that is, “the mark of the beast”’: “Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is
Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.” And
another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image
and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full
strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy
angels and in the presence of the Lamb... Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep
the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.” (Revelation 14:8-12 ESV)
Here, we can see that at the end there will be only two groups of people: those who worship the Creator and
obey ALL his commandments – having the FAITH of Jesus - and those who, drunken by the deception of
the apostate church, identified as “Babylon,” worship the beast – or its image- and receive its mark.
Now, who is the beast? Who is the image of the beast, and what does it mean that the mark is placed on the
forehead or in the hand?
A diligent study of the Scriptures shows that the terrible beast of Bible prophecy symbolizes the Roman
Empire, both in its political-military phase as Imperial Rome, as in its religious phase during the Middle Ages,
as the Papacy - the highest representative of the Roman church. Which instead of being the church of Christ,
it has transformed itself into an institution of temporal power, which under the influence of an alliance between
the Bishop of Rome and the Roman Emperor Constantine; prostituted the apostolic faith, making it an
instrument of the devil to govern the world.
History tells us that up to the 4th century of our era, Christians were persecuted both by the Jews
and the Roman Empire. Emperor Constantine was one of their great persecutors. However, seeing
that he could not overcome them (because the blood of the Christians was as seed that raised up
new Christians), he decided to convert to Christianity and to make it the official religion of the
Empire. He then went from being a persecutor of Christians, to being an impostor, one that mixed,
or syncretized Christianity, with the pagan religion of his Empire. Listen to what Wikipedia tells about
this character:

Constantine: Roman Emperor from 306 to 337. Well known for being the first Roman emperor to be converted to
[notes 4]
Christianity,
Constantine had returned to Nicomedia from the eastern front by the spring of 303, in time to witness the
[45]
beginnings of Diocletian's "Great Persecution", the most severe persecution of Christians in Roman history.
In the likeness of Apollo Constantine recognized himself as the saving figure to whom would be granted "rule of the
[106]
whole world",
Religious policy
Constantine is perhaps best known for being the first Christian Roman emperor.
In February 313, Constantine met with Licinius in Milan, where they developed the Edict of Milan. The edict stated
[204]
that Christians should be allowed to follow the faith without oppression. This removed penalties for professing
Christianity, under which many had been martyred in persecutions of Christians, and returned confiscated Church
property.
[206]
Constantine would retain the title of pontifex maximus until his death, a title emperors bore as heads of the
pagan priesthood
[207]
. Throughout his rule, Constantine supported the Church financially, built basilicas, granted privileges to clergy
(e.g. exemption from certain taxes), promoted Christians to high office, and returned property confiscated during
[208]
the Diocletianic persecution. His most famous building projects include the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and
Old Saint Peter's Basilica.
However, Constantine certainly did not patronize Christianity alone. After gaining victory in the Battle of the Milvian
Bridge (312), a triumphal arch—the Arch of Constantine—was built (315) to celebrate his triumph. The arch is most
notably decorated with images of the goddess Victoria and, at the time of its dedication, sacrifices to gods like
Apollo, Diana, and Hercules were made. Most notably absent from the Arch are any depictions whatsoever
regarding Christian symbolism.
Later in 321, Constantine instructed that Christians and non-Christians should be united in observing the
venerable day of the sun, referencing the sun-worship that Aurelian had established as an official cult.
Furthermore, and long after his oft alleged conversion to Christianity, Constantine's coinage continued to carry
the symbols of the sun.
The reign of Constantine established a precedent for the position of the emperor as having great influence and
ultimate regulatory authority within the religious discussions involving the early Christian councils of that
time…
More significantly, in 325 he summoned the Council of Nicaea, effectively the first Ecumenical Council
In medieval times, when the Roman Catholic Church was dominant, Catholic historians presented Constantine
[263]
as an ideal ruler, the standard against which any king or emperor could be measured.
That’s why, today, in the Catechism of the Roman Apostolic Catholic Church we read the
following... speaking about the 10 commandments, it mentions concerning the 4th – which figures as
the 3rd in the catechism (because the church eliminated the second commandment from the
catechism which prohibits the veneration of images). It reads:
https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P7M.HTM
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the
seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; in it you shall not d o any work. 90 (and sites a Bible
text)
The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath; so the Son of Man is lord even of the
sabbath.91
(and gives the Biblical quotes that we have already shared in this video.. then it says).
2169 In speaking of the sabbath Scripture recalls creation… (this is correct, and sites a Bible text…).
2170 Scripture also reveals in the Lord's day a memorial of Israel's liberation from bondage in Egypt:
(which is correct… the Sabbath was also a symbol of liberation from the slavery of sin… then it
continues).
2171 God entrusted the sabbath to Israel to keep as a sign of the irrevocable covenant... (In full
agreement…).
2172 God's action is the model for human action. If God "rested and was refreshed" on the seventh
day, man too ought to "rest" and should let others, especially the poor, "be refreshed." 96 The sabbath
brings everyday work to a halt and provides a respite. It is a day of protest against the servitude of
work and the worship of money... (so it is…).
2173 The Gospel reports many incidents when Jesus was accused of violating the sabbath law. But
Jesus never fails to respect the holiness of this day.98 He gives this law its authentic and authoritative
interpretation: "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath." 99 With compassion, Christ
de clares the sabbath for doing good rather than harm, for saving life rather than killing. 100 The
sabbath is the day of the Lord of mercies and a day to honor God. 101 "The Son of Man is lord even of
the sabbath.
(Up to this point, all is well! In accordance with the Holy Scriptures… but it goes on to say:)
2174 Jesus rose from the dead "on the first day of the week." (which is correct). Because it is the
"first day," the day of Christ's Resurrection recalls the first creation. (What? Not at all. God created
the heavens and the earth in six days and rested on the seventh. The seventh is that which
commemorates the first creation...).
Because it is the "eighth day" following the sabbath, 105 it symbolizes the new creation ushered in by
Christ's Resurrection. (What? The new heavens and the new earth do not come at the resurrection
of Christ. They come after the endof the world, and Isaiah says that there we will all go to worship
God from Sabbath to Sabbath).
For Christians it has become the first of all days, the first of all feasts, the Lord's Day (he kuriake
hemera, dies dominica) Sunday:” (For which Christians? For those who follow Constantine, not
Jesus and His apostles…) in continuation give the true reason for this abominable modification of
the law of God written with His own finger in stone…)
We all gather on the day of the sun, (Ha?, When? The day of the sun) for it is the first day [after the
Jewish sabbath, but also the first day] when God, separating matter from darkness, made the world;
and on this same day Jesus Christ our Savior rose from the dead. (And gives no Biblical support, to
show inspiration from God…).
Truly, Christ has set apart the seventh day in memory of His work in creation, not the first day… In
this matter, the Roman Church is trampling on God’s law and transferring the worship and adoration
to a common day, which is neither holy nor blessed by God for sacred purpose…. This is really
abominable to God, because it is an attempt against His symbol of authority as Creator of heaven
and earth.
Video papa Benedicto XVI: “The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week. After six days in which man
participated, in some form, in the work of the creation of God, the seventh day is the day of rest. The Sabbath,
the seventh day, is now substituted for the first day. The structure of the week has been inverted. We do not
now look to the Seventh day, to participate en the rest of God. We begin with the first day, as the day of
encounter with the resurrected. The change is an extraordinary act…”
From the days of Constantine, Sunday, the pagan day of worship to the sun, was obligatorily
imposed upon all persons, against the clear divine mandate of resting on the Sabbath in honour to
the Creator. This challenge to God’s authority (who wrote his commandments on stone) constitutes
the symbol of the authority of the Roman church, which is accepted and honoured by almost all
religions and, almost all persons. Please, read, the document which link is left in the description of
this video, where we prove that Sunday observance is the mark of authority of the Roman Church
over other religions and over the whole world...).
Now, if the “Little Horn” of the prophecies of Daniel, and the “dreadful and terrible” beast of Revelation,
symbolize the Papacy, who then is the ‘image of the Beast’? A diligent study of chapter 13 of Revelation
shows that the second beast, which is like a lamb (alluding to Christ) but who speaks like a dragon (that is, the
devil), represents the United States of America, which rose as a protestant nation; a guarantor of political and
religious freedoms, but who, little by little, is becoming something similar to the Roman Church, that which the
Bible describes as the “image of the Beast.”
The North American writer, Ellen G. White, wrote more than a hundred years ago: “When the early church
became corrupted by departing from the simplicity of the gospel, and accepting heathen rites and customs,
she lost the Spirit and power of God; and in order to control the consciences of the people she sought the
support of the secular power. The result was the papacy, a church that controlled the power of the State, and
employed it to further her own ends, especially for the punishment of “heresy.” In order for the United States
to form an image of the beast, the religious power must so control the civil government that the authority of
the State will also be employed by the church to accomplish her own ends.”
“When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in
common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant
America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon
dissenters will inevitably result. .(Great Controversy, 443, 445 }
More than a 100 years ago, when this was written, it may have sounded like something incredible, something
crazy, because then, the United States was a Protestant country, guaranteeing political and religious freedom,
with a complete separation of church and state. However, today we see the following being fulfilled before our
very eyes.
Video Pr Guillermo Maldonado: “Thursday May 4, 2017, President Donald Trump signed an executive order
to protect religious liberty in the United States. The executive order of President Trump eliminated the
restrictions imposed by the Johnson amendment of 1954, that restricted pastors and other religious leaders,
from giving partisan support to political candidates. Faith leaders now have the liberty to support their
candidates from the pulpit, without fear of government reprisals. This action is a victory for the Church…”
That State, which once guaranteed the separation between politics and religión, today, is making backward
steps because, now religion has obtained such control over the political power, that it is using it in a visible
manner and with strong advantage, to forward its own ends. Today, the image of the beast, is a reality …
The Papacy, symbolized in the prophecy of Revelation as a “dreadful and terrible” beast, and in the
prophecies of Daniel as the “little horn” who: ‘will speak evil of God Most High, and he will be cruel to God's
chosen ones. He will try to change God's Law and the sacred seasons.’ (Daniel 7:25 CEV), was the
power that enforced, from the time of Constantine, Sunday, “the venerable day of the sun,” as the required
day of rest within Christianity, though it was still keeping the biblical Sabbath.
In the same manner, at the end of time, and in order to get Rome’s support, the “image of the beast”, that is,
the United States of America, will make a decree imposing Sunday as the day of rest. And everyone who
does not obey this law, the Bible says, will not be able to buy nor sell, irrespective of his/her social status:
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right
hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the
beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:16-17 KJV)
The “mark of the beast” then, is the imposition of a day of rest that challenges and dishonours the Creator, it
constitutes that “abomination of desolation” spoken by Jesus and the prophet Daniel, as an unmistakable sign
of the beginning of the tribulations of the end time. In this sense, the prophetess of the Adventist Church
affirms: “As America, the land of religious liberty, shall unite with the papacy in forcing the conscience and
compelling men to honor the false sabbath, the people of every country on the globe will be led to follow her
example”.—Testimonies for the Church 6:18 (1900).
At the beginning of our study, we saw that God would place His seal only on the foreheads of those who keep
the commandments of God and have the FAITH of Jesus, and that is because God only accepts the worship
offered by His children in love and in complete intellectual freedom.
However, the beast will place its mark both in the forehead and in the right hand, because the devil will
subdue those who worship him consciously, as well as those who submit themselves to the beast because of
fear of losing their jobs. That the mark is placed on the forehead or the hand is something symbolic. The
forehead is symbol of the intellect; the right hand is a symbol of work.
Video Pope Francis: “Perhaps the time has come to ask ourselves if working on Sunday constitutes true
liberty.”
The National Sunday Law will be the great test that will confront God’s people in the last days. Says the
Scriptures: “This means that God's holy people must be patient. They must obey God's commands and
keep their faith in Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12 ERV)
When this abomination is enforced upon humanity, beginning in the United States of America, God
will allow the beginning of the desolation of the Earth. And there, those who defend biblical truth will be
treated as traitors, denounced as enemies of law and order, as breakers of moral restrictions, and will then be
viewed as the cause of anarchy and corruption, which calls forth upon the earth the great judgments of God.
Though it may seem contradictory, the simple fact of being faithful to God will attract mockery, coercion,
stigmatization, and persecution from the highest seats of power and control in society. Governors, ministers of
religion, and even church members will conspire against them. The arts, the intellect, and social media,
economic and religious groups, all will unite against those who keep the commandments of God and have the
faith of Jesus.
Persecutions will increase, and the persecuted will be called ideological terrorists, they will even have to flee
to the mountains to save their lives. Jesus himself, called us precisely to pray that our flight will not be in the
winter or on the Sabbath… Interesting, isn’t it? He said:: “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the
world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” (Matthew 24:20,21 KJV)
And this will be so, because the papacy will cause all ‘the kings of the earth’ and ‘the inhabitants of the
earth… [to be] made drunk with the wine of her fornication.’ (Rev.17:2 KJV), that is, with the wine of its
deceptions, and will cause all nation to rebel against God. The Scripture says: “These have one mind, and
shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Revelation 17:13 KJV).
There will be at this time a common universal link, a confederation of forces that will obey Satan; an
ecumenism of governments and religions against the commandments of God and the pure faith of Jesus.
When this rebellion becomes global, God will arise to shake the earth in the fury of his wrath. The prophecy
says: “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation...” (Revelation 14:9-10 KJV)
“Behold the Lord shall lay waste the earth, and shall strip it, and shall afflict the face thereof, and scatter
abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be as with the people, so with the priest: and as with the servant
so with his master: as with the handmaid, so with her mistress: as with the buyer, so with the seller: as with
the lender, so with the borrower: as with him that calleth for his money, so with him that oweth. With
desolation shall the earth be laid waste, and it shall be utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. The
earth mourned, and faded away, and is weakened: the world faded away, the height of the people of the earth
is weakened. And the earth is infected by the inhabitants thereof: because they have transgressed the
laws, they have changed the ordinance, they have broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore shall a
curse devour the earth, and the inhabitants thereof shall sin: and therefore they that dwell therein shall be
mad, and few men shall be left.” (Isaiah 24:1-6 DR)
Do you realize a time of great anguish awaits us, in which we will be between a rock and a hard place? If we
keep faithful to God’s commandments, we will be persecuted by the greatest powers of this world; but
if we accept the mark of the beast and submit to earthly powers, we will have to face the wrath of God. This
great choice will decide your destiny either for eternal life or eternal death.
To His children, to those who believe and obey His commandments, God promises protection in the midst of
the chaos of the last days. He says: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
(Revelation 3:10 KJV)
It is true that multitudes of Christians from past generations have observed Sunday as the biblical day of rest;
and there are still many true Christians today, in all churches, including the Catholic Church who believe
sincerely that Sunday is the day of rest divinely instituted. God accepts their sincerity of purpose and integrity,
but when the truth has been clearly revealed, and they have been called to choose between the
commandments of God and the commandments of men, it will be then, that those who persist in transgression
of the law of God will receive “the mark of the beast.”
It is in this sense, my friends, that I ask you to consider this idea… Do you know that in the earth made new,
after the second coming of Christ and the destruction of the wicked, that we will continue to worship God on a
specific day of the week? Which day do you suppose that that will be?
“For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain
of the LORD shall be many. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all
nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign among them… For as the
new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your
seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one
sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 66:15,16,18,19,22,23
KJV)
In summary, the Sabbath rest was not only instituted at creation, but was also written on tables of stone with
the finger of God as the fourth of the ten commandments, it was not only kept by all the children of God that
lived before Christ, but was also kept by Jesus Christ Himself, who also taught us to keep it correctly - doing
good on this holy day – and who in doing so, declared Himself to be the ‘Lord of the Sabbath’. This day was
not only observed by the apostles of the primitive church, but Jesus himself tells us that we should pray that
our flight or escape be not on a Sabbath; and if that was not enough, the same Lord makes an oath saying
that in the earth made new we will continue keeping the Sabbath. What more would you need to accept this
great truth?! Isn’t it clear to you that the seventh day is the day that was blessed and sanctified by God for
Holy use?
Friend, keeping the Sabbath will not save you, but as of today your transgression of it can cost you eternal
life. Think about it, and ask; Why don’t I enjoy this holy day together with my Creator from now on? He has
promised:
“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a
delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine
own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause
thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the
mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isaiah 58:13,14 KJV)
I will keep the Sabbath, "for it is you, O LORD, who have blessed, and it is blessed forever.” (1 Chronicles
17:27 ESV).
In this video we have supported all our declarations with quotes from Bible verses. We have also quoted from
other authors, among them Ellen G. White. We are aware that her name generates much prejudice in some
persons, never-the-less we have decided to include some portions of her teachings so that you might also be
blessed through her writings.
And in this sense, we would like to invite you to lay aside all preconceptions and prove for yourself if this is so
or not, reading some of her books.
● If you don’t have much time, we recommend that you read “Steps to Christ.” In less than 100 pages
you can prove the spirit of her writings in this magnificent work.
● If you would like to understand a little bit more about the Old Testament and know how this same God
of Abraham, Moises, and Elijah can also be your God, read “Patriarchs and Prophets”.
● If your desire is to see Jesus, and to be transported back in time to His era in history, read “The Desire
of Ages” A book that describes the life of Christ as none other has.
● Finally, we would also like to recommend to you “The Great Controversy”, that summarizes the history
of the church from the days surrounding the destruction of Jerusalem to the end of time with a chilling
prophetic anticipation of our actual reality though written a hundred years ago.
You can access all her books and writings free of charge in the language of your choice, through the
application; “Ellen G. White”, available in app store and play store.
Finally, we would like to dedicate some words to some persons who are very special before the eyes of God.
We are referring to priests and pastors. To you who are called to this sacred office, we would like to
encourage you to examine with sincerity of heart, what has been presented here and to prove it to be true or
not… putting aside denominational differences and ecclesiastical protocols and seek the truth in the Lord.
Even in this climate where the major religious organizations are uniting under the banner of ecumenism with
paganism. God is calling us all to buy the truth and sell it not.
May the Lord bless you and keep you in the hour of trial that is coming upon the world to put to trial the fidelity
of all those who dwell upon the earth.
