The document appears to be a tactical mission report from WWII detailing a bombing mission by the 58th Bombardment Wing against a target in Japan. It includes details of the target, mission strategy and plan, weather reports, intelligence assessments, and statistical summaries.

The primary target of the mission was the Hiro Naval Aircraft Factory, Target 660, located in the Kure Area of Japan.

The mission was planned for May 5th, 1945 based on weather forecasts that predicted unfavorable conditions for bombing in the Tokyo area but favorable conditions in the Kure area. The target was chosen to be attacked simultaneously with 5 strikes on airfields in Kyushu as a diversionary tactic.

snd all formations except I bombed the primary target with excellent
results.
b. Drifts varied frc.m 2 to 5 degrees right and caused no
trouble. 'Ihe formation not hitting the target area. had an accidental

the trigger engaged. 1170 cases of pneumatic bomb bay door ma.lW1c-
