Armor Casting [General]


You can reduce your arcane spell failure chance when wearing armor.

Prerequisites: Dex 13, Armor Proficiency (varies)

Benefit: When wearing armor with which you are proficient, your arcane spell failure chance is reduced
by 5%. This benefit does not apply to arcane spell failure chances provided by shields.

Improved Armor Casting [General]


You further reduce your arcane spell failure chance when wearing armor.

Prerequisites: Dex 15, Armor Casting, Armor Proficiency (varies).

Benefit: When wearing armor with which you are proficient, your arcane spell failure chance is reduced
by 10%. This benefit stacks with that gained from Armor Casting, but does not apply to arcane spell
failure chances provided by shields.

Greater Armor Casting [General]


You can further reduce your arcane spell failure chance when wearing armor.

Prerequisites: Dex 17, Armor Casting, Armor Proficiency (varies), Improved Armor Casting.

Benefit: When wearing armor with which you are proficient, your arcane spell failure chance is reduced
by 15%. This benefit stacks with those gained from Armor Casting or Improved Armor Casting, but does
not apply to arcane spell failure chances provided by shields.

Shield Casting [General]


You can reduce your chance of arcane spell failure when using a normal shield.

Prerequisites: Dex 13, Shield Proficiency.

Benefit: When carrying a shield, as long as you have a hand free, your arcane spell failure chance is
reduced by 5%. This benefit stacks with those gained from Armor Casting, Greater Armor Casting, or
Improved Armor Casting.

Tower Shield Casting [General]


You can reduce your chance of arcane spell failure when using a tower shield.
Prerequisites: Dex 17, Shield Casting, Tower Shield Proficiency.

Benefit: When carrying a tower shield, as long as you have a hand free, your arcane spell failure chance
is reduced by 20%. This benefit stacks with those gained from Armor Casting, Greater Armor Casting, or
Improved Armor Casting.

Enhanced Armor Proficiency

Prerequisite: Proficiency with chosen armor

Benefit: Your training has allowed you to become more comfortable wearing armor. The armor check
penalty for wearing armor is reduced by 1, and the Arcane Spell Failure check is reduced by 5%.

Greater Armor Proficiency

Prerequisite: Enhanced Armor Proficiency, Proficiency with chosen armor

Benefit: The Max Dex bonus for the type of armor increases by 1. The armor check penalty for wearing
armor is reduced by 1, and the Arcane Spell Failure check is reduced by 5%. This benefit stacks with the
benefit from Enhanced Armor Proficiency. This Feat cannot reduce an armor check penalty or spell
failure check below 0.

Heroic Armor Proficiency

Prerequisite: Greater Armor Proficiency, Proficiency with chosen armor

Benefit: The Max Dex bonus for the type of armor increases by 1. The armor check penalty for wearing
armor is reduced by 1, and the Arcane Spell Failure check is reduced by 5%. These benefits stack with
the benefit from Enhanced and Greater Armor Proficiency. This Feat cannot reduce an armor check
penalty or spell failure check below 0.

Legendary Armor Proficiency

Prerequisite: Heroic Armor Proficiency, Proficiency with chosen armor

Benefit: Your armor is like a second skin; you no longer suffer armor check penalties or Arcane Spell
Failure chances while wearing your chosen armor
