Section 4 : First Aid Measures

Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.

Eye contact Wash out with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids
apart to ensure flushing of the entire eye surface. Seek medical
attention if irritation persist.

Skin Contact Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash off with plenty of
soap and water. If irritation or any discomfort continues, seek medical
attention.

Inhalation If it is safe to do so, remove from exposure and remove any visible
product from around face. Give artificial respiration if required. Seek
medical attention immediately.

Advice to doctor If ingested, probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of
gastric lavage. Product is absorbed by ingestion, inhalation via the
skin and eyes. Treat symptomatically. Antihistamines and steroids
have been found to be effective in dealing with irritation.

Extinguishing Media This product does not burn. Use extinguishing media suited to
the materials that are burning. CO2, foam, dry powder, in order
to reduce the risk of spreading contamination, whenever
possible do not use water extinguishers

Fire Fighting Instruction Keep drums cool with water. Avoid breathing smoke and fumes.
Emergency service personnel must wear breathing apparatus.
Prevent, by any means available, spillage from entering drains or
water course.

Danger caused by Thermal decomposition products of these compounds may include


material, it’s combustion toxic fumes and gases

Section 6 : Accidental Release Measures


Clean up Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination.
Absorb spillage in earth or sand. Collect and seal in properly labeled
containers for disposal. If contamination of ponds, rivers and waterways
has occurred, advice local emergency services.
Disposal Remove contaminated material to safe location for subsequent disposal.
Dispose of in accordance with all regulations.

Handling Keep exposure to a minimum. See section 8 with regards to personal


protection equipment requirements . Avoid skin and eye contact and
inhalation of vapour, mist or aerosol

Storage Drums to be stored unopened in secure, well ventilated and bunded


area away from foodstuff and incompatible or combustible materials. Store
out of reach of children and unauthorized persons. Keep from extreme
heat or open flames and oxidizing agents. Avoid contact with strong
acid and bases..Protect drums from physical damage and
check regularly for leaks and spills.

Section 8 : Exposure Control and Personal Protection Equipment

Exposure Limit There are no WES or TLV values available for this mixture or any of
the constituents. However, given that the main constituents are
pesticides with potential acute and chronic effects, workplace
exposure should be kept as low as reasonably achievable by the use
of engineering controls and correct personal protective equipment.

Personal Protection:

Eye protection Safety glasses and /or chemical splash goggles if splashes are
possible.

Skin contact Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Wear overalls, rubber boots
and impervious gloves.

Respiratory General exhaust is adequate under normal operating conditions. If


inhalation risk of overexposure exists, wear a respirator, ensure
that the cartridge are correct for the potential contamination.

generator to determine the toxicity and physical properties of the
material generated to determine the proper waste classification and
disposal methods in compliance with applicable regulations.

Container Disposal Do not use empty container to store foodstuff. Clean drums by
washing 3 times with clean water. Washings should be recycled into
the treatment system. Dispose of empty containers safely.

and local laws and regulations.
