BI AS Server EUL Setup Process

1) Create an EUL (use apps sysadmin to create eul) $ORACLE_HOME/bin/eulapi -CREATE_EUL -APPS_MODE CONNECT sysadmin/password@bptdev1 -USER EUL_US -PASSWORD EUL_US -DEFAULT_TABLESPACE discoverer -TEMPORARY_TABLESPACE temp -EUL_LANGUAGE US -APPS_GRANT_DETAILS apps/apps 2) Enable Business View on APPS

SYSADMIN user, please do the following: Logon to Oracle Applications as SYSADMIN Choose the "System Administrator" responsibility. o Navigate to Security > User > Define and add responsibility "Business Views Setup" to user SYSADMIN.

Regenerate your Business Views by running the "Generate Business Views by Application" concurrent program using the Business View Setup responsibility: Logon to Oracle Applications as SYSADMIN Choose the "Business Views Setup" responsibility o Navigate to Reports > Run > Pick Single Request > "Generate ALL Business Views"

3) Grant apps user SYSADMIN complete EUL Administration Privilege $ORACLE_HOME/bin/eulapi -CONNECT EUL_US/EUL_US@bptdev1 -GRANT_PRIVILEGE -USER sysadmin -PRIVILEGE administration -PRIVILEGE all_admin_privs -LOG eulgrant.log 4) Make sure user SYSADMIN has full security access to all Business $ORACLE_HOME/bin/eulapi -CONNECT EUL_US/EUL_US@bptdev1 -GRANT_PRIVILEGE -USER sysadmin -BUSINESS_AREA_ADMIN_ACCESS % -WILDCARD -LOG eulbaaccess.log 5) Upload script patch Need to apply patch 6459796 on apps server bptdev1 and copy the content of $AU_TOP/discoverer/ to /home/oradisc/discover/US/

6) EEX Import On Disco server go to directory /home/oradisc/discover/US/ run the below script in background, as nohup vj.sh & vj.sh content ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/home/oradisc/discover/US/adupdeul.sh connect=sysadmin/password@bptdev1 \ resp="System Administrator" \ gwyuid=APPLSYSPUB/PUB fndnam=APPS secgroup="Standard" \ topdir=/home/oradisc/discover language=US eulprefix=EUL eultype=OLTP mode=complete \ iashome=/home/oradisc/OraHome_1 logfile=/home/oradisc/discover/US/vj.log ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------7) Refresh the EUL /home/oradisc/discover/US/adrfseul.sh connect=sysadmin/sysadmin@bptdev1 \

BPTDEV Post Clone Setup process


Create Apps user DISCOADMIN ( System administrator & BIS Super User), login on apps and reset password Grant APPS user DISCOADMIN complete EUL Administration Privilege $ORACLE_HOME/bin/eulapi -CONNECT EUL_US/EUL_US@bptdev1 -GRANT_PRIVILEGE -USER discoadmin -PRIVILEGE administration -PRIVILEGE all_admin_privs -LOG eulgrant.log Enable Business View on APPS o SYSADMIN user, please do the following: Logon to Oracle Applications as SYSADMIN Choose the "System Administrator" responsibility.

Navigate to Security > User > Define and add responsibility "Business Views Setup" to user SYSADMIN.
