ARCHEEVA
STUDIO
The word Archeeva came from a
mixture of two words: Architecture
and Akeeva. Akeeva comes from
the Hebrew language, and means
“protect and shelter”. Whereas
architecture means the art and
technique of designing and building,
as distinguished from the skills
associated with construction. As our
name implies, Archeeva Studio strives
as much as possible to provide a
building design that not only fulfills
aesthetics and utility but also provides
a comfortable and protected feeling
while inside the building.

Works
Archeeva can provide concepts and
designs for buildings and interiors
with a variety of approaches,
such as biophilic, contextual,
neuroarchitecture, and so on.

Pustaka Pengayom
Pustaka Pengayom is a micro-library designed for sites located in villages
near the Code River. This library was created with the concept that
knowledge will protect and help our lives, so we must study it to a practical
level. The micro library has a collection room, staff room, computer room,
meeting room, lounge, and reading room.

Dening Kaweruh
Dening Kaweruh is a micro-library designed for a site in Terong Village,
Bantul. This building is needed because Terong village does not yet have
educational facilities. So the main function of the library is as a book
bank that can increase the ability, knowledge, and interest in reading for
villagers.

Hexa School
Hexa School is a kindergarten designed with the concept of a child tribe
where children are free to explore themselves and the teacher acts as the
supervisor. Therefore, the building contains an open-space classroom so
that access for children in and out and supervision of teachers becomes
easier.

Kennis Elementary School
Kennis Elementary School is a special school designed for people with
autism spectrum syndrome with a neuroarchitecture approach and applying
the ASPECTSS index design (acoustic, spatial sequencing, escape space,
compartmentalization, transition, sensory zoning, safety).

Divvy Up House
Divvy Up is a healthy house that responds to the COVID-19 issue with a
design that strictly divides the house into 3 zonings. This house uses a
biophilic approach so that it applies calming colors, natural lighting and
ventilation, views of nature, work space, and safe zones.

Sesambungan Rent Office
Sesambungan Rent Office is a rental office that has the concept of
connecting the staff, work, other activities, and the surrounding culture.
The building is divided into 3 parts; the 1st floor acts as a “base” which
contains additional non-office facilities, a management area, and the last
part, which is a tower that contains offices for rent.

Ajantha Art House
Ajantha Art House is a house designed for an artist couple with an ener-
gy-conscious architectural approach. The house was built by dividing it
into 3 zones: art and gallery space, a semi-private space, and a private
space on the 2nd floor. The house also uses energy-friendly materials,
solar panels, and microhydro.

ME
Athalia Gracella Sitanggang
For me, architecture is a study that greatly affects human life and not only just gives beauty and
comfort to the building. I appreciated the important relationship between design, environment,
and humans to create a pleasant and memorable experience according to the user’s needs. I
believe by applying the concept of neuroarchitecture, we will get an architectural building with a
design that is in accordance with human natural needs to the fullest.
