Ed Gein Analysis
The case of Ed Gein is not that unaccustomed/peculiar to other people. Some of perceivers
already knew the story of Ed Gein because of the movie they have made in the year 2000. If we
juxtapose the case to a fictional serial killers it would be myriad because it’s all about a psycho
and a leather face. Gein’s criminal profile is a serial killer, but thinking of how many people he
killed, he was only charged with the deaths of two women. In consideration, his first case of
murder may have in point of fact to his brother Henry. Looking through the articles that cover the
Ed Gein murders and to act in accordance with the story of his acts from Plainfield the divergence
between the local and national coverage of the case is more unclouded and easier to distinguish.
The details of the case including the horrendous acts he performed with the victims were within
limits to attention grabbing for national newspapers to ignore, but because the crime was in such
a small town local news felt the need to not only provide coverage on the case but also to display
their side of the story.Ed Gein was a fugitive for how many years starting in his grade school
where it was reported he was bullied for prop upping himself like a female. He also look to be
having denationalize conversations with himself in the classroom that consisted of tantrums of
laughter. After much analysis, it seems that Gein’s environment coupled with presumed
psychopathic or psychotic biological factors are what drove him to commit his crimes. The Ed
Gein case gives us ideas of how the world may have seen an event compare on how the people
who lived it may have viewed an event. Each viewpoint is well founded and necessary when
understanding the big story and should be contemplate before a final judgment when the issue has
made. We already know that the facts are easy to uncover but the story written by others is all in
the contingent. Ed Gein was also declared mentally unfit to stand his trial and he was sent to a
hospital in Wisconsin. They believed that Ed Gein’s father frequently shoot and gut deer and pigs
in front of him, which may show why Ed was inspired by this because the behavior of a person
starts to his/her environment and the people who lives to it and carried this nature throughout his
killings. He was also a ceramicist at some point, which seems fitting and considering his fetish
with skin. Gein also claimed that “the sight of blood made him queasy” which is ironic,
considering he killed two innocent women and skinned their bodies for his own creepy beneficial.
