VA:Cn10.1.Ia: Document the process of developing ideas from early stages to fully elaborated
ideas.

Lesson Objectives (what will the students do):


Students will create an animal starting with a pinch pot base.
Students will use creative problem solving to create an animal from a pinch pot.
Students will design a pinch pot large enough to hold a small plant.

Learning Targets (what do you want the students to leave with):


Students will be able to create a pinch pot into an animal design sufficient in size to hold a plant.

I Do: Demonstrate how a pinch pot is made.
Present artist examples and ideas.
Show teacher example.
You Do: Create thumbnails of proposed plans.
Make a pinch pot.
Add elements to the pinch pot to design an animal.
