Purpose:
To comply with Title VI of Federal Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Solar will provide the following semiannual warning by these Service Bulletins for as long as ap-
plicable. The purpose is to assure that purchasers of Solar parts are informed - before purchase -
of the use of certain ozone depleting substance in some of Solar’s metal cleaning processes. Warn-
ings are required under Title VI of Federal Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. Solar is diligently
working to eliminate the use of such substances.

SOME PARTS OFFERED FOR SALE BY SOLAR TURBINES ARE MAN-
UFACTURED WITH 1,1,1 TRICHLOROETHANE, A SUBSTANCE WHICH
HARMS PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT BY DESTROYING
OZONE IN UPPER ATMOSPHERE.
