Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to do the following:
a. Identify the characteristics of Arts and Crafts in Visayas (Panay Islands,
Negros Island, Bohol, and Basey Samar)
b. Make a woven basket using a plastic bottle.
c. Value the importance of learning the different Arts and Crafts in Visayas.
III. Procedure
Motivation
The teacher will show a video presentation about the arts and
crafts of Visayas. The students will observe the content of video.
The teacher will use the answers of the students to link the
questions to the lesson of the day.
D. Assessment
The teacher will ask the class a question:
What are the similar characteristics of the arts and crafts coming
from Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan?
IV. Evaluation
Performance Task:
The task will be individual. The students will make a woven basket
using a plastic bottle. The output will be graded according to the following
criteria.

Uniqueness 20 points
Overall Impact 10 points
Total: 50 points
V. Assignment
Have an advance reading about the Arts, Crafts, and Festivals of Visayas.
