Tangere (1887), El Filibusterismo(1891), Me Ultimo Adios(1896), Filipinas dentro de cien
anos(1890), Sa Mga Kababaihang taga Malolos(1889) and many more. In his book Noli Me

groups. Father of the Katipunan, Father of the Philippine revolution and Founder of KKK (Kataas-
taasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan).
Bonifacio is the unofficial first President of the Philippines. According to historians,
there was already an official revolutionary government before called Haring Bayang
Katagalugan where Andres Bonifacio was the Supreme leader or Supremo. But other
historians stated that Bonifacio only was the leader of the Tagalog region and not the whole
Philippines. But there was a footnote in one Bonifacio’s letter which states that
Katagalugan is the whole Philippines.

Emilio Jacinto
Emilio Jacinto y Dizon is a well-known general of the revolutionary government of the
Philippines during the Spanish regime. He is popularly known as the Utak ng Katipunan or
the “Brains of the revolution”. He became the advisor on fiscal matters and secretary to
Andres Bonifacio. Jacinto also wrote for the Katipunan newspaper called Kalayaan. He
wrote in the newspaper under the pen name “Dimasalaw” and used the alias “Pingkian” in
the Katipunan. Jacinto was the author of the Kartilya ng Katipunan as well. This Kartilya or
code is very important to the Katipunan. It is an ideology or Philosophy which embodies
morals and nationalistic principles.

Isabelo de los Reyes is known to be the Father of Philippine Labor. He is born on
July 7, 1864 and died October 10, 1938. He was a founder of the Aglipayan church or
Iglesia Filipina Independiente. He was jailed before because of prominent strikes against
American business firms. He was the head of the Philippine labor group called Union de
Litograficos y Impresores de Filipinas in 1901. Since he has been in Europe for a while, his
ideologies were influenced by European socialism most specially Marxism. Later he
organized the first labor federation in the country in 1902, the Union Obrera Democratica
Filipina (UOD). This was his reaction against what he perceived as the impending
exploitation of Filipino labor by American business firms or capitalist institutions.

Claro M. Recto
Claro M. Recto was a famous politician during his time. He is considered as the
finest mind during his generation. According to Teodoro Locsin. Recto is not a good
speaker. But heaven help the one whose pretensions he chooses to demolish. His sentences

Team Millennials

 In planning the presentation, you can use story board to keep everything
organized. It is a good idea to make a story board for each slide to plan the content and
lay out of the presentation. You can sketch, write, or paste into each slide. You may
include texts, images, sounds/music titles, and other resources that you plan to use in
your presentation. Follow the template and create a storyboard about Covid- 19.

work?
4. How can multimedia provide opportunities for learning?
5. How does multimedia help you as a student?
6. What do you think are the downsides of using mulimedia?

5. Animation is the process of making a static image look like it is moving. It is just a
continuous series of still images that are displayed in a sequence.
Uses of Multimedia

1. Giving information means giving facts on a certain issue, topic, or situation.

2. Giving instruction is an expression that is used inorder tha another person does what
is instructed or requested.
3. Making explanation is the act or process of making something clear or easy to
understand. It is also telling or showing the reason for or cause of something.
4. Narrating events mean the art of storytelling. Any time you tell a story to a friend or
family member about an event or incident in your day, you engage in a form of
narration.

G. Application
Time Allotment: 2 minutes

What is the importance of using multimedia resources in giving information,

instructions, making explanations and narrating events in personal or factual recounts?
H. Evaluation
Time Allotment: 5 minutes

Use the resource that is suitable to present each information in doing the tasks. Make a
three (3) minutes multimedia presentation on a personal recount about your experiences on
the topic that interests you the most. Be guided with the rubrics.

A. Energy conservation- Time and again, you hear tips for energy conservation. At
home, what do you do to help lower down your electric bills? List your
suggestions.

B. Water conservation- Look around you and observe how water is waste (at home
and the neighborhood). List and state some do’s and don’ts to save it.
