Gender and society

Gian Milan E Wong 28/04/2022

AM22 Mr. Monchito Avila
Open Letter

Many changes have been made to better accommodate and support other

genders around the world. These changes are important and need to be continued. The

Philippines has been frequently ranked as one of the top ten countries in the world, but

this ranking has recently decreased. I could see that the problem has to do with how

women are treated in our society and how that affects their adaptability. With this in

mind, gender is not an issue within the border, but it is still an issue that needs to be

addressed. In this letter, I would like to provide more information about the challenges

faced by women in the country. Can you give more information about the problems and

how to address them? We still don't fully understand gender identity, and we may not

have sorted out the differences between male and female people yet.

Politics is an important part of any community, and it is the foundation of

creating a working nation. However, most people who have power or influence in the

political world are usually male. Although there are cases where a woman has greater

power than a man, such as the Philippines' first female president, Corazon Aquino, or

the 14th President of the Philippines, Maria Gloria Macaraeg Macapagal Arroyo, with

that in mind, we can see the country's progressiveness when it comes to the treatment

of both sexes. Is it enough to just ask the question? Will the answer provide us with the

information we need? There is no evidence that hCG supplementation will improve

fertility. According to the way things are now, there are still few women in the political
world. According to a document about the Country Partnership Strategy for the

Philippines, which was done by the Asian Development Bank, 70% of women in

Congress are individual politicians. The ladies of the government, the courts, the

political importance of the dynamic positions of interest. Women's share of total

employment in the United States was nearly 40 percent from 2006-to 2009. In 2009,

there were about 35 million people employed in the United States. Of these, 61% were

male and 39% were female. Among employed women, 36% are laborers and unskilled

workers. This group includes women who work primarily in manual labor positions or

who have low levels of education. (ADB, 2010)

With these findings, we can see that women are more disadvantaged than

men in the workplace, and that may be one reason why our rank has decreased. The

idea of this letter is not to make fun of the fallings of the government, but to realize that

we, as citizens, should also uphold a sense of equality and not rely on the government

to make these changes happen. We must treat others with the same rights and

behaviors that we would like to be treated. What is the underlying ideology that could

lead to a world of equality? As humans, we have the potential to make a difference in

the world, for good or for bad. The biggest flaw in humanity is the inability to understand

each other, which creates a barrier that separates us from each other forever, and only

then when we remove these barriers and finally understand each other, then we can

have a world of peace.
