B. Profile of the Program or course

i. Title of the Program or Course:

School-based Conduct of Remedial Classes During Summer

ii. Rationale:

In reference to DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2022 “Amendment to DepEd Order No. 13, s.
2018 titled Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct of Remedial and Advancement Classes
During Summer for the K to 12 Basic Education Program”, End-of-School-Year (EOSY) classes
shall be implemented in all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide for SY 2021-
2022 which shall start on July 24, 2022 and end on August 12, 2022. The eligible learners from
Grade 1 to 6 (with grades ranging from 75 to 79 in any learning area) shall attend enrichment
classes from Mondays to Fridays for fifteen (15) days only.

Through conducting this activity, the eligible learners will be provided with relevant
knowledge on the different competencies that they were having difficulties. Teachers

iii. Program or course description:

This activity shall be conducted in school to eligible learners who are having grade
ranging from 75 to 79 in any learning areas of SY 2021-2022. It is strictly following the safety
and health protocols pursuant to the IATF rules and relevant issuances.
