• Senate Blue Ribbon Committee: The Senate blue ribbon committee hearings
uncovered that Pharmally cornered P10 billion in pandemic deals between 2020 and
2021 despite it being a small, newly created firm that lacked the funds, track record,
and credibility to handle big-ticket government procurement.

• The hearings of the Senate blue ribbon committee took place on December 17,
2021. According to the Senate blue ribbon report, all those involved in the
pharmaceutical pandemic scam, particularly President Duterte, should face
prosecution under the Premeditated Plunder Law.

1.4. Where – did this happen, where are the involved parties from, where will the
effect take place?

• It happened in Manila, the Philippines. The parties involved are from the Philippines
and China. There’s no mention in the statement where the effect will take place.

1.5. Why – is this (the what) significant, is this important to the city or province
that it is happening in, is this important to the Philippines

It's important to know what's going on in our country because it helps you understand
your place in it. It can also help you understand the ways in which people are different
and the ways they're similar. And when you understand that, you can make more
informed decisions about how to act toward others around you. Knowing what's going
on around the world gives you context for your life. It helps you understand where we
all came from and where we're headed. I’d say it is fairly important that people are at
least aware of some current events in other countries. This helps us understand that
our own country is not the be-all and end-all of the human race. We might also learn
some things that we can use ourselves.
1.6. How – did this particular article affect, what we know or our initial
impressions about the article? How can you relate this issue in your current
situation?

My understanding of this pharmaceutical deception has been clarified after watching

the video. I hope that all parties engaged in this matter face prosecution. How can I
relate this issue in my current situation? Keep an eye out and don't put your trust in
just anyone. Choose wisely who you put your trust in, especially when it comes to
electing a leader. Take what you've learned and don't let it happen again. Don't put
your trust in everyone. Not everything you see is true. However, if you feel compelled
to search, it's a sign that your instinct is telling you something important. Pay
attention to it.
