Simulate NRZ, RZ, Half-Sinusoid and Raised Cosine Pulses and Generate Eye Diagram For Binary Polar Signalling
PART-B
1. Simulate NRZ, RZ, half-sinusoid and raised cosine pulses and generate eye
diagram for binary polar signalling.
Preamble: Line code is the electrical representation of the encoded binary streams produced by baseband
transmitters, so that these streams can be transmitted over communication channel. Basically there are two
types of baseband signalling NRZ (Non Return to Zero) and RZ(Return to Zero) depending on the pulse
duration and bit duration . Common Line codes used in digital communication are unipolar, polar, bipolar,
Manchester- RY codes etc. Below given is the program for unipolar NRZ and RZ code.
