    ANNEXURE – A

    STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PAINTING JOB

    1. Painting job will be carried out by Contractor as per instructions of TECC’s


    Site In-Charge and specifications.

    2. The brief scope includes following:

    a. Cleaning of surface thoroughly with wire brush/emery paper; and/or


    sandblasting as per order.
    b. Application of touch up primer, wherever required.
    c. Application of 2 coats of synthetic enamel / epoxy paint (as per order) to
    get the desired DFT by customer/TECC.
    d. Arrangement of labours/supervisors, wire brush/emery paper, painting
    brush, steel scaffolding, buckets to carry paint / primer for application, etc.
    e. Painting of colour bands & Arrows, wherever required.
    f. Stenciling of letters on painted surfaces. (Stencils shall be provided by
    TECC).

    3. The rate is inclusive of all charges.

    4. No idle labour claim will be entertained & contract price will be firm till
    completion of the job.

    5. One week’s advance notice for mobilisation will be given to Contractor.

    6. Measurement of painted area will be on actual plain surface basis & not as
    per IS method.

    7. Duration of the site will be as mentioned in the work order.

    8. Paint / Primer / Thinner will be supplied by TECC/Customer, free of cost to


    Contractor.

    9. Contractor will collect the materials from our Stores and shall return balance
    materials to our stores & maintain proper accounts of the materials issued to
    them.

    10. Contractor shall bear the cost of materials, in case the issued materials are
    mis-used by them.

    11. Contractor will arrange lodging & boarding, medical, travel, local conveyance,
    insurance for staff, workmen and tools. Necessary ESI, PF payments,
    wherever applicable will be made by Contractor. Proof of such payments
    alongwith copy of wage sheet shall be submitted to TECC every month.

    STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PAINTING JOB

    12. Contractor shall adhere to all safety norms & labour norms prevailing at
    customers factory premises. We value safe working. Any accident to any
    of the workers shall be entirely contractor's responsibility. Since Contractor is
    already registered with TISCO and is aware of all their safety requirements,
    he shall take care of everything in this aspect.

    13. In case steel scaffolding is required then the necessary arrangement will be
    made by Contractor.

    14. Terms of Payment shall be – 10% after site mobilisation, 80% on completion
    of job & 10% retention, payable after 6 months from date of completion of
    work or against submission of Workmanship Bank Guarantee valid for 6
    months from date of completion of work. For claiming mobilisation
    charges, you shall submit your invoice duly certified by our site in charge
    alongwith indemnity bond, copy of workmen compensation insurance policy,
    PF & ESI registration code Nos., PAN No. etc.

    15. All original invoices shall be duly certified by TECC Engineer. Payment shall
    be released within 15 days upon receipt of original certified invoices at TECC
    HO Pune. DD charges shall be borne by Contractor.

    16. Contractor shall submit a copy of Income Tax Certificate showing their PAN
    Number immediately.

    17. TECC’s General Conditions of Contract & Addendum Page enclosed shall be
    applicable for the job.
