Show pictures of different celebrations like birthday, fiesta, etc.
Ask: What celebration do you like most? Why?
(Let pupils discuss briefly their experiences)
Do you still enjoy celebrations today? Why?
(Talk about their experiences during pandemic)
C. Motivation
1. Show pictures of different transportation (Power point)
Ask: What can you see in the pictures? Have them name each
object.
“Where can we see these objects? Show them one by one
and have them tell where they can see each
transportation. (land, sea, air)(Integration of Science and

2. Group Activity:
Divide the pupils into 3 groups.
Each group will be given a task.
Group I. Name the picture
Group II. Place the picture to its proper area (land, sea, air)
Group III. Form each jumbled letters

D. Presentation
Ask: “How do you go to school?” Elicit the different ways that they
came to school.

Have the pupils select the meaning of the underlined words.

b. Reading the poem “Sakyanan, Atong Kinahanglan”
Recall the standard for Silent Reading
Instruct the pupils to read the poem after the teacher had finished reading.
(Let them note the right ways of keeping oneself safe.)
c. Select a pupil to read the poem.
E. Discussion
Answer the following questions;
a) Unsa ang gisulti sa atoa sa unang parapo?
b) Unsa ang mga paagi sa pagbiyahe ang gihisgotan sa ikaduhang parapo?
c) Asa sa mga sakyanan ang gigamit sa tubig? Sa yuta? Sa kawanangan?
d) Unsa ang gisulti sa ikatulo nga parapo nga atong buhaton? Miuyon ba ka sa
ideya niini? Ngano man?
e) Unsa ang mahitabo kon dili nato tumanon kining mga pahimangno?
f) Show pictures and have the pupils tell where these objects belong. (land, air,
water)
g) Provide the pupils with symbol √ and X.
Have them answer the following by raising the symbol √ if the statement is
correct and symbol X if it is not correct.
1. Motan-aw sa tuo ug wala usa molabang sa dalan.
2. Ibutang ang siko sa bintana sa sakyanan samtang nagdagan kini.
3. Mokapyot nalang sa sakyanan kon wala nay kalingkoran.
