MY CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN

Philosophical Statement

Learning is beyond the subject matter inside the classroom. It must be filled with
opportunities where the skills of the students can be developed holistically
through experiential learning. As a teacher, it is always my duty to provide the
students an exciting and effective lessons that will hone them physically,
cognitively, socially and morally.

I believe that student’s development lies not only in the hands of the teachers.
Thus, parents and school community must also be involved towards the
development of the learners. I will make sure that my instructional strategies will
cater the needs of the students and make meaningful connections between the

concepts learned inside the class as well as in real-life situations.I will encourage
relationships across all dimensions of students’ lives and make the learning
relevant to the experiences of the learners. In this way, students can demonstrate
higher order thinking skills

Classroom Rules and Procedures

My classroom rules are as follows:

1. Be respectful to everyone. When someone is speaking, listen attentively.

2. Do not use electronic devices during classes unless you are permitted.
3. Raise your hand if you have concerns and questions.
4. Be prepared on class, don’t be late.
5. No cheating.
6. Participate and have fun!

Teacher-Student Relationships

As a teacher, I will teach with enthusiasm and passion to encourage

exuberance during class. I will incorporate sense of humor in lessons so that
students will not feel boredom. Lessons will not just be lecturing and note
taking. I will make the classroom fun, exciting and interesting through
experiential learning and technology based lessons. A welcoming learning
environment will make the students comfortable and confident at all times. I
will always be mindful of how I will communicate without shaming inside the
classroom.

Schedules and Time frames

I will make sure that students will always have ample time in doing their
activities, assignments and projects. I will be firm and fair with the students
in terms of due dates.

I will post the classroom calendar, homework schedules and assignments on

the board to prevent cramming in doing the assigned tasks.

I will prepare two copies of class schedule, one copy will paste on their desks
and the other one will paste on their notebook so that there will be no invalid
reasons and excuses if they did not pass their assigned task on time.

Classroom Structure, Design, and Arrangements

Classroom design and arrangement will vary depending on several factors

such as room size, number of students in the classroom, and the size of

furniture and equipment. I will make sure that every student will be
comfortable through vibrant space and decorations such as charts, posters
and display boards. I will use vertical space for display and learning
enrichment. I will arrange the seat plan effectively to ward off disruptive
behavior of unruly students.

Classroom Safety Rules and Procedures

I will not allow allow students to bring sharp and dangerous tools inside the
classroom. Students are strictly not allowed to go outside the classroom
during class hours unless they are permitted. I will focus also on creating an
emotionally safe classroom so that students can feel safe and sound all the
time. More so, I will organize academic environment to have ample space
inside the classroom where students can work well during groups. I will
advise them to put away any tools they have used specially during
experiments and other activities.

Strategies for Rewards and Consequences

I will set a point system where students can earn points every recitation and
they can convert this to something after every quarter of the school year. This
reward system can encourage participation and eagerness inside the
classroom. Students will also become motivated to study their lessons and be
prepared at all times. However, if they have committed disruptive behavior
they will be punished and I will talk with the parents of such students.

Classroom rules are the most difficult to implement because there were

Reflect

What were your realizations after creating and implementing your classroom/
remote learning management plan?
Learning management plan is significant to every teacher to promote
learning. Each component of the learning management plan has something to do
with the students, it can be direct or indirect effect. This is not just simply creating
rules but it takes time and effort before its implementation. If teachers follow the
important elements of effective classroom management such as classroom design,
rules, discipline, scheduling, organization, instructional techniques and
communication, they can make sure that classroom lessons will run smoothly without
any disruptive behavior. As a future teacher, I will always plan carefully my learning
management plan so that the classroom will always be secured and non-threatening.
