1. As you observe the class, look into the characteristics of the learners. Note their
ages.
As I observe the pupils are hyper active not that focused. Likes to roam
around, they listen when a story is said. Their ages varies 6 ½ to 7 ½
years old.
2. How many boys are there? How many girls?
There are 8 girls and 5 boys.
3. Focus on their behavior. Are they already able to manage their own behavior?
Since they are still young, almost all of them do not know yet how to
manage their behavior.
4. Can the learners already work independently?
They can read and write with their own but they still need teacher’s
assistance.
5. Describe their span of attention.
Their attention or span of attention too short. They can focus for just a

Yes, there are specific areas in the classroom for specific purpose.
Books are properly arranged at the back of the classroom, it is easy

these reinforce positive behaviour?
Yes, also the rules and procedures are posted inside the classroom.

eating, and some other rules are properly posted.
3. Did the students participate in making the classroom rules? If the Resource
Teacher is available, ask him/her to describe the process. What’s the effect
of the students’ participation in rule-making on student’s behavior?
According to their teacher, since the students are still young at age
some of the rules are not followed properly. The teacher said she
explain to her pupils that they should follow the rules.

attendance, assignment of monitors, warm-up activities, etc.) How are they
done?
Since it is a Catholic school, the teacher starts the class by opening
