CHAPTER II

MARKETING PLAN

MACRO-MARKET ANALYSIS

Political Factor

 Freedom of Press

Anyone should have the power to access information whether it be printed or

electronic media. This opened a path for the enterprise to advance the business through

social media platforms or printed materials. The freedom to apply the enterprise's

marketing strategies through media by means of promoting the product and attract more

customers will greatly be of a huge help not just to the enterprise but also to the business

itself.

 Rule of Law

Some places would not be in the range of delivery due to stricter rules enforced

by the government on behalf of the pandemic. This closed a path for the enterprise to

advertise and promote the product to certain places due to quarantine implementations.

On the bright side, it also enabled the enterprise to maximize their marketing strategies

and increase the awareness of the product to places that are in range.
5

Economic Factor

 Level of Consumer’s Disposable Income

Knowing the purchasing power of the customers is significant when it comes to

business. Loveight Enterprise ensures that the products are good quality, yet affordable to

the customers whether they are teenagers or adults. Adults' source of income comes from

their salary at work and the teenager's income can either be from their parents, part-time

job, or school. Anyone can unhesitatingly buy the products due to its cheap price. There

were customers who already thought that the products sold are cheap, yet satisfying to

their taste. The enterprise will ensure to maintain the customers' interest all the while

advertising the product.

 Price Fluctuation

Businesses seem to be booming in this time of the year. Number of online sellers

and online businesses have increased drastically, thus more competitors have arisen. We

Are Social has revealed that 64% of Filipino internet users' time are now spent on social

media platforms, with 23% focused their activity in online selling or business. Prices of

Loveight's products are often altered to maintain the customer's interest and also searches

for a way to attract more as compensation.

6

Socio-cultural Factor

 Education Level

Quite a few consumers purchased the same product simply because it fits their

taste, closing the doors of other flavors. It doesn't indicate that the other products are

below their standards in quality. Although the effect is unexceptional, the enterprise gains

experience and their level of knowledge is expanded in handling similar problems.

Additionally, Loveight Enterprise’s educational level ensures quality service to customers

and guarantees the sales of other products through their strategies.

 Buying Habits

The probable reason behind the demand of the same product is due to trends, lack of

dissatisfaction, or the other products did not reach the customer’s standards. Customers

who tend to buy the exact products will close the opportunity to explore others. The

enterprise perceives this as an opportunity to increase sales through price increase. The

increase of the products’ costs might also lead to customers trying other feats that fits

their purchasing power and thus, increasing the sales.

Technological Factor

 Access to Newest Technology

Nowadays, when society is facing a health crisis and isolation situation, technology

becomes even more significant in terms of marketing. Loveight Enterprise has the

capacity to promote and sell products via social media platforms given the circumstances.

This also affects both the consumers and the business enterprise since non-direct
7

communication or interaction is applied when customers order. Loveight Enterprise took

advantage in this matter since social media platforms are now flooding with potential

customers.

 Research and Development

With regards to the business, the business enterprise provides all the benefits that

the business partner can receive. Likewise, providing graphic designs such as flyers and

brochures is one marketing strategy the enterprise have in their hands to capture the

customers’ attention and easily engage in deals or agreements to order. The business

enterprise continues developing new services or products, or improving existing ones.

Additionally, within a certain time span, new products would be developed to maintain

and grasp more interest, and as a way to increase sales.

Competitive Analysis

The business world is big after all, indicating that businesses are bound to have

competitors as a challenge. Of course, when competitors have emerged, taking a blind

eye would give them an advantage and emerge victorious. To refrain this from

happening, the marketing firm’s objective is to analyse and compare the strengths and

weaknesses of the competitors to their own. Five competitors were found by Loveight

Enterprise in which three of them is seen to be of a challenge.

Eporia Marketing Company, RJJIL Marketing Firm, and A² Food Corner are the direct

competitors due to their products having similarities with Loveight Enterprise which are

burgers, pica-picas, and milk teas. The remaining two, Dream Casters and Marketech De

Servicio are both indirect competitors since the products have little similarities but targets

the same customer group.

1. Strategic Location

FAITH Community is situated along the highway, and is also where the

entrepreneurs spend most of their time of the week studying. This is a strategic location

because this is also where the entrepreneurs spend their weekdays studying, hence

opening lots of opportunities to endorse and sell products to their fellow students. The

location is also a child-friendly place, so safety and security of the entrepreneurs will not

be an issue.

benefits such as availing multiple seeds at a price lower to that when it is availed single.

It is non-toxic and very environment-friendly, which makes it sellable, safe and appealing

to all genders and ages. Anyone who cares for the environment they live in will surely be

tempted to avail at least a Suloy Pencil, try it at home, and get addicted to how easy it is

to write with a pencil that promises a new life at the end of its usage.

Weaknesses
11

simple packaging which may not be that appealing to customers. The smartest consumers

will understand, though. The enterprise has always emphasized their minimalist nature, in

purpose of protecting and preserving the environment.

The current alarm brought by mass media is in favor of the product’s necessity.

People are easily convinced by global and local news especially if it is said to affect their

own and their loved one’s future. Moreover, because the product is still not available to

the public market, it will be a great opportunity to start small within schools. The

emerging need for the product can be a great marketing tool to the entrepreneurs as well.

Threats

1. Numerous Direct Competitors

The products of competitors being food which is common and similar is a threat to

the firm. Especially when both firms are selling the exact product the customers’ yearn

customers’ loyalty.

2. Numerous Indirect Competitors

Due to food being one of the common necessities of people, countless food

businesses have been established whether online or not. The customers may just visit
13

on the product as a way to search for improvements and maintain customer loyalty.

3. Online Connectivity

Since the firm’s customers mostly comes from social media platforms, it is essential

to reply to the customer’s messages, questions, and orders. But due to online connectivity
