1 Perception of Grade 12 ABM Students
on the Growing Platform of E-business
at FAITH Fidelis Senior High School,
S.Y. 2021-2022
General Problem
The research aims to discover the different perceptions towards the
growing platform of e-business of Grade 12 ABM students at FAITH Fidelis
Senior High School, S.Y. 2021-2022.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What is the perspective of ABM students about the growing platform of e-
business?
2. How does the e-business platform help/benefit ABM students?
3. What are the experiences of the ABM students on the growing e-business
platform?
4. How would the students describe the development of using online platforms
in businesses?
Research Methodology

This section discussed the procedure utilized by the


researchers to conduct the study. It included the
research design used, the sampling method applied, the
data gathering procedure, and the type of qualitative
data analysis employed.
Design
This study utilized a qualitative research method to assess the perspective of Grade 12
ABM students on the growing platform of e-business. Specifically, this qualitative study was
supported by the use of a phenomenological research approach, in which the researchers
presented the views of the respondents involved in the study. According to Fuster, D. (2019),
phenomenology is based on the study of life experiences, in relation to an event, from the
perspectives of the subject. The main objective of phenomenological approach is to explore a
phenomenon as it is witnessed and perceived by the participants (Guilbeau, 2014). Thus, this
study used this research approach to gather data in regards with the growing platform of e-
business as the respondents have their own observations or perceptions in the said
phenomenon. Additionally, there are various methods that can be used to conduct
phenomenological research approach, including interviews, conversations, and participant
observation (Lester, n.d).

General Problem

The research aims to understand the perspective on how influencers affect a business and the
consumers in purchasing products of Grade 12 ABM students at FAITH Fidelis Senior High
School, S.Y 2021-2022.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. How would the students describe their experiences of businesses using influencers as an
endorser of their products?
2. What are the opinions of the Grade 12 ABM students in regards with the use of influencers for
endorsement?
3. What are the characteristics or qualities of an endorser do the ABM students look for in
product promotion?
4. What are the perspectives of the Grade 12 ABM students on the effectiveness and
persuasiveness of influencers in product promotion?

General Problem

The research aims to explore the perception towards the effectiveness of


using Facebook to advertise a business of the Grade 12 ABM students at FAITH
Fidelis Senior High School, S.Y. 2021-2022.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. How would the respondents describe the effectiveness of using Facebook in
advertising a business?
2. How do the respondents react to the advertisements seen on Facebook?
3. What makes Facebook the most effective platform to advertise a business?
