I am constantly trying to
improve my teaching
skills and learning new
ways to complete this.
Throughout the year
teachers have grade level
meetings and all teacher
meetings to fix the gaps
in the state testing.
Throughout the year I
look for DP that I can
attend to make my
classroom the best
learning environment it
can be. I use what I learn
in the PD in my
classroom. For example,
this year I adapted
weekly progress reports
for each student, better
communication with
parents, doing sight in a
different way, and ABC
Bootcamp that I learned
from a PD. As a school at
our last PD we discussed
that the math scores are
good but could be better
so we got back our ALEKS
program.

Every week I meet with
my partner teacher to
discuss and see how our
students are doing with
mastering standards.
Once a month we meet
with our grade level team
TK-2nd to discuss any
items we see across the
grade levels. We also
discuss items that are
happening around
campus. I always speak
with other teachers about
my struggles to get
feedback on what they
do. I am in constant
communication with the
learning support teacher
to ensure all my students
are getting the best
education and help they
need. My principal and I
have had many
conversations regarding
how to improve the
curriculum.
