My name is Salvador Asuelo Patosa III, born on June 22, 2002 at Poblacion
Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat and I’m proud to say that I belong to a happy and lively
family with 4 members. Unlike other families, my family does not have very strict
traditions, I think it’s because our ethnicity is Ilonggo which only has few traditions. We
also have practices that are done at home, these practices include having breakfast,
lunch and dinner together, as for our household chores, we all have a part and
obligations to do, also we believe on some Superstitious beliefs such as; Sweep only in
the afternoon because you can no longer do it at night, sweeping at night means you
are taking away fortune and luck. I believe that there's no perfect person, we all have
weaknesses that we should not be ashamed of but let's take this as inspiration to work
harder in life. In my case, I’m well aware of my weaknesses and strengths. As for my
weaknesses, I'm not really good at writing, I'm not good at choosing words to use in a
sentence that's why sometimes my English grammar is incorrect, and as for my
strengths, I can say that somehow I'm good verbally, reporting is my favorite activities in
class, in fact when I was in high school every time there’s a reporting I'm always
assigned to report, that's why I’m already used to it. Being an English Teacher is my
biggest dreams in life, aside from the salary that I can get from this, I really want to
share my knowledge and understanding to the students especially to those who is in
needs, being able to help children makes me happy and at the same time it gives me a
sense of accomplishment, and I also choose this course because I feel like I belong
here as if I was destined to be here. As a future teacher, I also want to create an active
learning environment with my class, I want to connect knowledge and help student
organize their knowledge for I believe that you cannot possibly become an effective
educator if there’s no interaction between you and your students, and most importantly
effective teaching should align the learning objectives, assessment and activities inside
the class.
