Women's nutritional status from antepartum to postpartum affects not only on her

woman is malnourished and failed to have a recommended nutritional intake before
having a child, the chance of having a premature baby will arise. On the other hand,
if the mother is overweight, she is also prone on having underlying complications like
high blood pressure and will put both the mom and the baby at risk. It is advised to
have an adequate amount intake of nutrition for women specially when they are
lactating. As the baby needs enough sources of nutrition that will help them to grow.
By way of sucking mother's milk that contains all of those nutrition.
Both mother and child needs nutrient to survive. This nutrients include, Vitamins, for
over all protection of the baby, Calcium for healthier and stronger bones of the baby,
Minerals, protein and fiber rich food, folic acid and iron and water for balancing out
the food. Anything in moderation is the best practice.
