Invention is a big part of our society. It rules the world by changing it for the
better. Many inventions became an important knowledge of today’s generation. It gave a big
impact to people’s everyday life.
After reading about the ancient inventions, I gained the knowledge of having all
these inventions and their importance in our lives through out this day. It gave us the
understanding of factors that motivate the people to invent and create something for our society.
In today’s generation, our society came up a lot of inventions but we have ten
inventions that gave a big impact on human society. These ancient invention’s role is to give
more insights about our past cultures, people and technology.
The wheel is one the ancient inventions of society, it is very old and no one knows
who invented it but it is the invention that covered the system for other inventions shaped all
over the past. The first use of the wheel is for more resourceful and quicker transport of things. It
helps us to have an easy way in bringing our belongings.
The second ancient invention is the compass. It is used since the 14 th century, and
still at use for navigations. It is very important especially for ocean travel because the compass
significantly enhanced the security and productivity of travel.
Printing express is an invention that have a lot of plans around the world since 11 th
century. It contributes a big impact around the world, because printing press improves the way of
giving information. It became faster and better that information are widely spread to many
people faster than before and much affordable to make.
The telephone, ever since it was invented, it became one of the useful things we
use at home. It remains as one of our communication technologies in our present time.
Nowadays, we used cellphones that we can bring to our pocket anytime, it helps us to
communicate to other people anywhere we will be.
Steam engine innovation became a big part of Industrial Revolution. Without it,
many factories had not open after all. And no transportation systems will be able to use if the
steam engine hasn’t invented.
The invention of antibiotics became a way to have a better medicine for the society. It
saves many lives through out its first use as part of our medicine. It also protects to the growth of bad and
harmful bacteria that can destroy of our body systems.
The invention of automobile became one of out basic needs in our daily life, especially
a lot of people needs a proper transportation to go to their jobs and other places they want to go to. It
makes the transportation much faster, easier and reliable.
The electricity is one of the ancient inventions that we still use as for today. It is one
thing that people cannot live without today. It is one of the most important invention in our today’s
generation, because a lot of things now need electricity. Like television, refrigerator, lighting, and etc. we
can’t be able to use these things without the use of electricity.
The next ancient invention is the computer. Computer is one of the things we used often
in the present. Most of us spent our days using computers by doings stuffs like playing games, making a
file, we also use it to our study and office works. It became a big part of today’s generation.
Lastly, the invention of internet. Internet makes us connected in today’s world. It
became part of society where in we can all see what we want and need to see on the internet. It is a
platform that can make us work and connected to other people, no matter where we are and no matter
what we are doing.
Out of all the ancient inventions of all time, I believe that the most influential invention
is the internet. Because in our today’s time, all we actually need to know is we can see on the internet. All
of us can use the internet for our own business like for studies, work, a past time. Everywhere around the
world, internet can make us connected. It brings new knowledge for everyone and we can also find other
inventions by the use of internet.
Inventions and discoveries are significant in our society. It develops the whole world
into a better place. It solves a lot of our societies problem and changes it to have a better life. Inventions is
one that rules the world, without it our society will not improve and many things in the world cannot run
as it should be. Imagining a world without the inventions, like electricity, we can’t be able to have
lighting without it, we cannot transport faster and easier without automobile, and we can’t be as
connected to the world without the use of the internet.
For my own knowledge and opinion, the invention that gave a biggest impact is the
electricity. Electricity is one of our basic needs in today’s era. We cannot able to see and use a lot of
things properly without the use of electricity. Buildings and structures are able to use with the help of
electricity. Our appliances need electricity for us to use it. Electricity gives us power and light for our
everyday life.
All these inventions have a unique feature to help us but the main features of these
inventions are to make our life better by changing it. It helps us to solve our problems and develop our
knowledge and skill by learnings all these inventions. It helps people around the world live longer,
improved, and more-productive lives and provide new ways to shape, transfer, connect, rebuild, learn,
and play.
All the inventions around the world have the ability to change the whole world, because
as we all know inventions are built to make and to change things for the better. It is just that each
invention has different capabilities to help the society but all of these are giving impact to all different
needs of people and our generations.
In conclusion, I have learned that from the start of our life in this world is full of
inventions of human society. Inventions makes the world works and inventors makes the things work for
the world. That is why a knowledge about the inventions and discoveries in human society is important, it
will give us the motivation to invent things to make our world much better.
