    Saturday, 14 August 2021

    Via Zoom Meeting

    MINUTES

    PRESENT: Mr. Nestor Yema, Jr., Ms. Joyce Anne Danila, Mr. Harold Coronado, Ms. Ellaine
    Jennica Fantilanan, and Mrs. Charisse Pasco, parents and grade 7 students (receipt of
    attendance will be attached).

    TIME: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

    AGENDA:

    An orientation was conducted to meet the parents, guardians and Grade 7 students of
    Marcelino Fule Memorial College with the School Principal and Grade 7 Advisers in
    preparation for the opening of class for the school year 2021-2022.

    1. CALL TO ORDER/ OPENING REMARKS

    Ms. Danila welcomed the participants to the ESC, Parents and Guardians’ Orientation,
    followed by the opening prayer led by Ms. Ellaine Jennica Fantilanan and the singing
    of the National Anthem (video presentation).
    Mr. Yema, the school principal, gave a short opening remarks.
    Introduction of G7 class advisers was done by Ms. Danila.

    Note: (Technical glitches were encountered during the first part of the program).

    2. MEETING DISCUSSION

    Introduction of Agenda was done by Ms. Danila.


    Opening of classes is on August 16, 2021.
    VSmart school was introduced to the students and parents by Ms. Ellaine Jennica B.
    Fantilanan. A Learning Management System that can be used by both teachers and
    students which the student can access free supplementary reading materials and
    multimedia files to enrich their learning.

    Question: Does using the VSmart School free?


    Answer: No additional payment for using the VSmart School.
    Details about purchasing of books has been discussed by Mr. Harold A. Coronado. (A
    total of Php 2,900 which includes English, Math, Science, AP and Filipino subjects).
    The payment scheme regarding tuition fees has been presented by Ms. Joyce Anne
    Danila. The amount of total payment of tuition fees with or without ESC subsidy has
    been discussed to the parents.
     ESC subsidy, requirements, and eligibility was also discussed during the Orientation.
    Note: Completion/Submission of requirements is until the end of the month
    of August.
    Open Forum with the parents was led by Mr. Yema, School Principal and Ms. Danila,
    Grade 7-Chief Adviser.

    Concerns of parents:

    * Issuance of Indigent Certificate - one parent told that their barangay didn’t issued
    indigent certificate to minors.

    * ESC Application Form - if possible must be submitted in original hard copy, but due to
    travel restriction it can be done through email (scanned copy of ESC Form)

    * Late issuance of Report Card

    * Wearing of uniforms
