1 SCC60 Controller Introduction

1.1 Key Features

Power supply
24V DC or AC
Multiple-input
Has 19 way analog inputs, thereinto 8 way three-wire temperature input, 8 way
4 - 20mA DC signal input , 8 way 0 - 1OV DC input, 1 way O - SA AC signal
input.
Has 20 way digital input, thereinto 16 channel 220V voltage i~put , 4 way 24V
voltage input.
Multiple-output
Have 12 way relay outputs, thereinto 4 ways which have both normally open
and normally closed output.
Has 2 way o - 1OV DC voltage output, 2 way o - 20mA DC current output.
Real-time clock
Has Independent inside power supply real time clock.
Communication Link
Has two industry standard 485 communication interface, support Modbus
communication protocol and one of it has isolation protection.
Intelligent Control
The software programs designed for specific refrigeration compressor can
automatically control the compressor running.
Net Function
Multi-controllers can communicate each other, control multi-compressor
together.
Parameter settings
can use a specialLCD, touch screen set parameters.
Communication repair
has communication status auto repair function, when communications error,
will reset communication port after automatic delay.
Joints
use plug terminals for easy maintenance and replacement.
Status Display
Each way status of input and output has LED light indicate the current status.
Fuses statuses have LED light indication.
Communcation status have LED light indication.
1.2 Optional Function

Controller operate interface can use special LCD screen or touch screen.
Optional extended temperature module, extended 8-channel temperature input
channels.
Optional transducer, support the motor frequency conversion controls.
Optional special communications adapter module for easy wiring connections.
Optional gateway module, realize remote compressor data monitoring on
Internet

1.3 Connection

SCC60 control board wiring for plug terminals, terminal blotks at outside of
control panel to easy connection.
SCC60 control board has two communication interfaces, respectively, located
in the terminal TB25 ComA and TB24 ComB.
ComA and ComB ports boths support Modbus-RTU protocol 03,04, 16 function
code.
ComA port is mainly used with the LCD screen or touch screen communication,
there is isolation protection.
ComB port is mainly used for multi-compressor net communications and
communication with the extended temperature module, not isolation . ComB
ports can also be used to communicate with the host when independently
compressor or no extended temperature module.

• Note: Multi-compressor communication and communicate with the


extended temperature module only be done by ComB port.

2 LCD Screen Introduction

2.1 Key Features

Power supply
24VDC
Display
Using 5.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 240 x 160 and blue bottom
white character, and white backlight, and a larger viewing angle.
Button
Thin-film buttons, no affected by factory wet and dust. •
Communication interface
Two industry-standard 485 communications, which one way communicate with
SCC60 control board, another way communicates with the host computer
software.
Joints
Using crystal head on order to easy replace.
Parameter Settings
According to SCC60 controller different functions, optimizing the setup menu
in order to easily change parameter.
Data cache
SCC60 controller can save all the operating parameters and settings
parameters to caache memory.
Parameter copy
Controller can copy settings parameters, and restored to the controller when
necessary.
Default value reset
SCC60 controller parameters can be restored to factory condition
Alarm display
when the trips and alarm happen, the alarm prompted the status, provide
alarm information.
Installation
The use of positive embedded in the control cabinet on the front panel.
Change
Replace
------- LCD screen does not affect the SCC60 controller action, in the absence of key
operation, the LCD does not write data to the SCC60,can be replaced even
when running the compressor

2.3.2 Main Interface

After 4 seconds of Initial display when power supply, enter "Pack Overview"
picture automatically, this is the main picture of overall system, display the unit
current work circumstances.

The main interface provides the following information:

• The upper right corner displays the current time, format: HH: MM: SS YY •
MM • DD. This screen displays the time in 11 years at 7:51 :21 on July 29.
• The middle 8 of 8 square windows are function entry, use the direction
button to move the cursor to the window, press the Accept button to enter.
• The bottom of the four function button are 4 Operate entry, press the
appropriate function button to enter. The figure above four function button
correspond to the "Menu","Control","Alarm" ,"Value" ,menu entry.
• In "Pack Overview'' picture, the direction button may control the cursor
move, "Accept" button may operating in cursor correspond picture; "Menu"
button may pop-up local setup menu; "Control" button may pop-up the
control operation surface; "Alarms" button may pop-up the alarms display
surface; "Value" button may enter the display of system main status.

"Status" displays the operating mode and work status around the bottom of the
window. The left side of compressor operation mode could be "stop"
"Manual", "automatic", "remote", display "load" and "unload" when increase
or decrease the capacity, the right display the working status of "Ready," "wait"
"Start" "Run," "wait stop" "stop" "stop delay", and display the "Forbid Load ."
when auto running process of forbid to load. The figure for the "Stop" mode,
status is "Ready."

"Run Cond" window: shows the main control position ,can .be displayed as
"compressor" " ChillWater," "Heat Pump,""Remote Pressure"" Chille Water",
The figure for the" compressor" condition, corresponding main control point is
"Suction Pressure" .

"Current%" Window Display proportion of compressor current occupies the


rating current. Because the comresssor is not on in the figure the motor current
is zero.

"Capacity%" window: Display capacity current positions, Capacity are zero in


the figure and prompt at capacity zero position.

"Hours Run" window: Display compressors accumulate running time, unit is


hours.the compressor accumulate running time is 2 hours. The remaining
three windows only display the title.

2.3.3 Modify Parameters Interface

When modify parameter it will pop up parameter change interface.modify


the parameter through press the up and down button~ T and "Accept" button,

form . Set parameters according to the different types

According to the SCC60 parameter setup characteristic, display interface


classification according to parameter, puts same sort parameter into one
window, the composing and operation is similar for each parameter setup
windows .

2.3.4 Menu interface

In the main interface, through the function key 1, you can enter the "Menu"
interface, the menu interface as shown below.

This interface provides basic information of SCC60 controller, including


controller Hard Num, Controller Soft Num, Controller Vefi Num.
In the figure, because this controller is activated, a display the Vefi Num is 7
bits long, before activation, Vefi Num is 8 bits long.
In this interface, can log on and log out, and set the parameters related to the
LCD screen.
This interface parameters has nothing to do with SCC60, does not affect the
action, but will affect the communication with the host computer.

2.3.4.1 Log on and log out

After "Log on"or"Log Out"has a box indicates the current login status. if after
the "Log on" indicates that is currently log on; if after the "Log Out", indicates
that the current logged out.

Log On

Move the cursor to "Log On"ln the "Menu" interface, and press the "Accept'
button, move the up and down button to enter a password, and press the
"Accept' button to confirm.
After successful log on, the box after "Log Out" original move to the posisition
of after "Log On"
It can modify the system parameters and the enter testing mode in log on
status ..

Log Out

In log on status, Move the cursor to "Log Out"ln the "Menu" interface, and
press the "Accept' button,quit to main interface.enter the "Menu" interface
again, the box after "Log On" original move to the position of after "Log Out" .
After 30 minutes of log on the controller will automatically change to log out
status.

2.3.4.2 Parameter Setup

2.3.5 Value To View Interfaces

Main interface, and the interface which from main interface of


"Capacity","Hours Run","Pressure","Temperature","Calc Value" through
"Accept" buttton be called value to view interface,the interface display
compressor running data in detail, for example of "Pressure", as shown below.

In "Pack Overview" picture, move the cursor to "Pressure" zone through the

"Pressure" interface is divided into eight windows, each displaying a value,


move the cursor to each windows, if this window corresponding contents have
setting items, could entering the appropriate settings interface after press the
"Accept" button
Note: Press "Accept" button at "Capacity" window of "Pressure" interface will
jump to "Capacity" interface.
If the window corresponding project sensor type is "no", not show this project
title and value.
"Pressure" interface function button1 corresponding to [Next Page], pressed
to see more value.
If have temperature extend board,[Temperature] interface function button1
also corresponding to [Next Page], press to view extended board
temperature; if no temperature extend board, [Next] function keys do not
appear.
In the main interface, it can enter quick view interface through "Value" function
key at the right side of the interface.the interface only shows part of the
common values and compressor status, does not have a parameter entry. Its
interface is shown below.

2.3.6 Set Interface

If the each small windows corresponding content have set options in value
view interface, can enter the corresponding settings interface through "Accept"
button. For example of "Status" correspond to "Unit Parameter" interface, as
shown below.

This interface represents set parameters for each line; each line consists of
four content.
• The leftmost number is auxiliary parameters to use when debugging, for a
fixed value, can not be modified.
• Intermediate character are set parameters content
• Lock flag indicates whether the permission to modify the parameters, will
disappear after get logged on privilege.
• The most right are current parameter values

When log on, move the cursor to the option to set through up and down button,
press the "Accept" button to modify parameter.

2.3.7 Control Menu Interface

Control menu interface can be opened by the function button corresponding


"Control" from bottom of any value view interface. Control menu displays a
window in the lower left position, as a separate menu, while the bottom four
function buttons will change accordingly. •

Move the cursor to aim mode, and press the "Accept' button, will enter the
control mode, and then operate it through the 4 function button.

After opening the control menu interface, in addition to the lower left window,
the other seven window displays value refresh on real time ,easy view data
when operation.when close control menu interface, the controller will maintain
the control mode.

2.3.8 Test interface

SCC60 test function can be used to test the relay, digital input, and the
calibrate zero and max voltage of capacity.

Test interface can saw from the bottom of all set interface in addition to the
"Run Cond" interface, enter by function 1 button.
Note: Enter test interface need has been logged on and from "stop" mode to
enter.

• In "Unit Parameter" picture, push "Test" functional button, enter "Test"


picture, could do simply test to controller hardware.
• Enter the test surface should logon first, and system at stop mode.

• Note:the compressor with transducer do not test analogue out during


running, recommend disconnect the transducer when test analogue output,
directly measure the output values using multimeter
• Note: analogue output holds status, please resume original value after
test.
• Note: bacause annlogue channel inner circuit correlation, the voltage value
of 1 associated with the current 1, voltage 2 associated with current values
2, so there will be one of the output value set, the other a display value
not changed, but the actual output has changed .
3 Operation

3.1 Information View

3.1.1 Running Data

Compressor running value data can view from value view interface.
The specific meaning of the data as follows:
• Main interface
• Current%: proportion of motor current occupies the rating current.
• Capacity%: The capacity slide valve relative position
• Hours Run: Compressor accumulate running time
• capacity interface
• The capacity slide valve relative position
• capacity voltage: capacity angular displacement sensor current input
voltage, Unit: volts.
• Volume Rat: Auto VI ompressor VI value.
• Volume Volt: Auto Vi ompressor VI sensor input vlotage,unit :volt
• ExtPreRate: The ratio of auto Vi ompressor discharge pressure and
suction pressure.

• Timer interface
• Stageup Delay: the wait time count down after oil pressure diff
establishment before start the open type
compressor,unit:second;when compressor already start, the settling
time count down (raise capacity only after the delay) ,unit:second; in
net mode, delay start compressor count down after get start
signal ,unit:second
• StageDown Delay: The delay time to stop compressor when meet stop
compressor condition in auto mode,unit:second;
• Prelube Time: The pre-lubrication time of open oil pump before start
the compressor,unit:second;

• Pump Off Delay: The time of continue to run pump after open type
compressor stopped,unit:second;
• After Stop Delay: To set the value of delay time from stop to next start
every times, unit:second;
• Load&Unload Period: when raise or lower capacity, relay action delay,
unit: second.

• Remain Time: Remain trial time of Controller that not be activated, unit:
days, show for the one day if less than one day.
• "Pressure Interface"
• Suction:Compressor suction pressure ,input by terminal TB1 on control
board,unit:Bar
• Discharge:Compressor discharge pressure ,input by terminal TB2 on
control board,unit:Bar
• Oil:Compressor oil pressure ,input by terminal TB3 on control

• Remote: Compressor remote pressure (Spare) supply by consumer,
input by terminal TBS on control board, unit: Bar.No display if "Remote
Pressure Select" is not choose.
• Economister : Compressor economister pressure, input by terminal

• Spare 1: spare pressure channel, not involved in the control, input by

"channel 7 pressure select" is "None".
• Spare 2: spare pressure channel, not involved in the control, input by
terminal TB8 and unit is bar if sensor type is pressure, no display if
"channel 8 pressure select" is "None".

• Temperature Interface:
• Suction: Compressor suction temperature.input by terminal TB9 on
control board,Unit: °C
• Oil: Compressor oil temperature,input by terminal TB11 on control
board,Unit: °C
• Chiller Out:: Compressor chiller out temperature.input by terminal
TB13 on control board.Unit: °C
• Hot Out: Compressor hot out temperature (spare), input by terminal
TB15 on control board, Unit: °C. No display if "channel 7 PT select" is
"None".
• Discharge: Compressor discharge temperature, input by terminal
TB10 on control board, Unit: °C
• Oil Heater: Compressor oil heater temperature, input by terminal TB 12
on control board, Unit: °C
• Economister:compressor economister temperature, input by terminal
TB 14 on control board, Unit: °C
• Hot In: Compressor hot in temperature (spare), input by terminal TB16
on control board, Unit: °C. No display if "channel 8 PT serect" is "None".
• DE Bearing: motor driver end Bearing temperature, input by
temperature extend board channel 1, Unit: °C. Effective only have
extend temperature board.
• NOE Bearing: motor not driver end bearing temperature, input by
temperature extend board channel 2, Unit: °C. Effective only have
extend temperature board .
• Winding 1: 1# winding temperature, input by temperature extend board
channel 3, Unit: °C. Effective only have extend temperature board.
• Winding2:2# winding temperature, input by temperature extend board

working.
"Mai": When the word display means that compressor relay open, motor
working.
"C R": When the word display means that AVI compressor raise relay open,

"V R": When the word display means that VI AVI compressor raise relay
open,VI raise.
"Alm": When the word display means that compressor in alarm status.

3.1.2 Trips Information •

When the alarm or trip occurs, it will prompt by following ways:

• The relay on which in alarm output point or trip output point of ec>mpressor

• "Status" window information flashing in the main int~rface of Scc60 LCD
screen.
• "Alarm" flashing at bottom of other value view interface of scc60 LCD
screen.
• Press function button 3 "Alarms" enter trip interface, display trip
information in detail.
• An alarm or fault of the analog input channel corresponding to the display
window flashing alarm information.
• The corresonding display windows that analog input channel which have
alarm or trip flashing alarm information

3.1.3 Data Chain

When the alarm occurs,in order to find trip reason easily,the data at the
moment of trip occur is locked,stop refresh,until manually reset successfully,
continue to refresh the data.

3.1.4 Trip Reset

When the trip occur and compressor stopped by trip, the compressor can not

start and stop refresh the data of display LCD.need enter "Alarm" interface find
the trip reason at that time and reset the compressor status.

This screen displays the information is divided into three parts:

• The most left show the alarms or trips occurred time, the format in• Day•
May • Hours •Minute
• It is information content in the middle of the screen.
• it is trip property at the most right of screen. Trip property are divided into:
• "high", means that the current value of this anolgue input is higher than
the alarm value;
• "low", means that the current value of this anolgue input is lower than
the alarm value;
• "Fault", means that the current value of this anolgue input sampled
failure or commnication failure.
• "Trip", means that the status of digital input or anolgue input is trip,or
other reason result in can not start compressor.
When the alarm or trip occurs ,the part of trip property will flashing.move the
cursor to flashing information through driection button ,press function button
2 "Accept" vould stop the information flashing.After accept,it will re-generate
this information if trip or alarm still exist .

Alarm list stored in the LCD screen, up to 20,do not lost even power off.After
log on,press the "Accept" and "Reset"button Sseconds at the same time in this

3.2.3 Stop

In the "Auto" and "Remote" mode, the controller automatically determine


whether need to stop, stop automatically when needed.
Switch the operating mode to "Stop", can send a stop signal manually, make
compressor stop. Firstly unload the capacity and VI at this time, then stop when
capacity to zero .
When stop trip happen, the compressor will emergency stop, and generate an
alarm message, the control mode does not change.

3.2.4 Manual operation

In the "Manual", "Capacity","Frequency" mode, opens the control menu,


Manually operate the compressor through the press function button.
NOTE: Manual operation should under the guidance of professionals.
Description:
• The "Start" of manual control only display in the "Manual" mode, When
compressor stop, switch the operating mode to "stop" enter the process of
stop.
• The setting of "Vi Control Type" in "Run Cond Parameter" affect the "VI
Load" and "VI Unload" action in auto VI compressor.
• Manual mode of open type compressor, the function keys 1 and 3 are not
available.
• In manual operation, generate control signal when lift button, not generate
continuous control signal if hold the button.
• If compressor capacity to maximum, manual load no response.
• When auto VI compressor capacity to maximum, manual lower capacity
will base on status to unload,auto mode need to determine the relay
action.
• When auto VI compressor capacity to maximum, manual adjust VI, both
relays of raise and lower will auto determine if the capacity to maximum
and have same action to ensure capacity maximum status.
• Frequency adjustment only correspond with the transducer control
compressor, and only in the operating conditions can be adjusted, the
frequency can be adjusted once every six seconds.
• Manual control, still has the protective function of automatic unload, and
trip emergency stop function, but does not have judgement of forbid
increase capacity.

Description:

• "Manual", "Capacity" "frequency" are manual control, switch each other


would not change operating mode .
• Mode switch only be done by manual, trip stop and auto stop not change
mode.
• The controller enter "Stop" mode when power on every time.
• In "Manual" mode, the function button content automaticlly display words
according to the compressor type.
• Function button 4 only use in close control menu, would not affect control
action.

3.2.1.1 Auto Control



In the "auto" mode, the controller automaticlly start or stop and adjust
compressor output according to the analogue value and digital status.
Control objective is main control point setting value in "Run Cond" menu.

The main control point of "Compressor" type Compressor is suction pressure.


The main control point of "Chill Water" and "Cool Water" type Compressor is
Chiller Out temperature. The main control point of "Remote Pressure" type
Compressor is remote pressure.If the current value of main control point is
higher than the " Main Control SP + Main load DB ", the compressor will
automatically start and loading.

If the current value of main control point is below the "Main Control SP - Main
load DB" and capacity reduce and stop. If the current value of main control
point is between the "Main Control SP + Main load DB "and "Main Control SP -
Main load DB", controller do not change capacity.

If the current value of main control point is between the "Main Control SP +
Main load DB "and" Main Control SP +Main load ZONE ",load delay time will
be activated. If the current value of main control point is between the "Main
Control SP - Main load DB" and "Main Control SP - Main load ZONE", unload
delay time will be activated.

3.2.1.2 Network control

In the "remote" mode, numbers of SCC60 controller exchange data,


automatically determine and control each compressor start, stop and capacity
load or unload. If want network control, need to set the function 2
corresponding "Net"menu in "Run Cond" interface.see Section 3.4 foe
detail.In muti-compressor control mode,naturally, compressor start in turn
according to control set point.and start another one after capicity till to
maximum.If unload capacity,
Unload the compressor to zero and stop, adjust next running compressor, till to
stop all compressor.
In the "Net" mode, there is no master, hinge, all compressors is same and
control order automatically arranges based onset point.

3.2.1.3 Manual Control

In the "Manual", "Capacity" "frequency" mode, can manual adjust compressor


running statuso
• Note: The operator who manually operate compressor should have
experience.

3.2.1.4 Stop Mode

Stop mode is the default values when controller power on.


After switch to the "stop" mode, the running compressor will stop automatically.
Compressor test should under "Stop" mode.

3.4.3 Compressor Alarm Parameter Set
SCC60 collected analog controller, it will need to determine the input value
based on the size, and take appropriate action alarm and control output. Alarm
parameters are located in the numerical display window, the window from the
menu you can set this into analog alarm parameters.
Part of the analog control action for crew safety and no effect, does not have
the alarm parameters.

3.4.4 Clock Setting


SCC60 board with real-time clock chip, the onboard battery, the controller
board power does not affect the clock.
Real-time clock is calibrated before leaving the factory, when the clock is not
allowed to appear, please manually set the real time clock.
In addition to "Run Cond", the other within the boundaries set for the
corresponding function key 2 "Time", press the function key to change the
clock.

Without obtaining the login status, you can not open the time setting screen.
Required the operator password.

In "Unit Parameter" picture, move the cursor to "TIME&DATE" zone through

3.5.3 Capacity and Vi's minimum and maximum calibration

Using the relay on and off in test interface, can calibrate the capacity and Vi's
minimum and maximum voltage.
The voltage v1 at the bottom left of test interface shows is capacity sensor
current voltage; voltage V2 is volume sensor current voltage.

• Note: that the minimum and maximum calibration should under the

guidance of professionals.

Capacity and Vi's minimum and maximum calibration procedure is as follows:


• Firstly, open the oil pump relay in test interface.
• Open the 4# relay of capacity unload, observe the display of the voltage
value V1, when the voltage value V1 stop decreases, remains the same,
press the "Accept" button, the controller automatically save the voltage
value at this time to " Cap At Min SP "option, off the relay 4#, minimum
calibration finished.
• Open the 3# relay of capacity load, observe the display of the voltage
value V1, when the voltage value V1 stop increase, remains the same,
press the "Accept" button, the controller automatically save the voltage
value at this time to" Cap At Max SP "option, off the relay 3#, maximum
calibration finished.
• Open the 8# relay of VI unload, observe the display of the iJOltage value V2,
when the voltage value V2 stop decreases, remains the same, press the
"Accept" button, the controller automatically save the voltage value at this
time to " Vi At Min SP "option, off the relay 8#, VI minimum calibration
finished.
• Open the 6# relay of load, observe the display of the voltage value V2,
when the voltage value V1 stop increase, remains the same, press the
"Accept" button, the controller automatically save the voltage value at this
time to " Vi At Max SP "option, off the relay 6#, maximum calibration
finished .
• Off the relay of pump.

3.5.4 Analogue Output Test


In addition to "Run cond", the other interface function button 3 corresponding
to "Analogue", press the function key to modify the output value of analog
output channel.
Without log on, you can not open the analog test interface. lt'is required the
operator password.

4 Troubleshooting

4.1 Automatic Protect Action


If SCC60 controller collect data meet the following conditions, the operation of
the compressor will automatically force to unload for protection.

• Motor current is higher than high alarm value.


• Discharge pressure is higher than the high alarm value.
• Suction pressure below the low alarm value.
• Cool water (Chiller) temperature is below low alarm value.

4.2 Deal With Common Trip



The following is a common fault with the process of investigation and
treatment.

LCD Screen Communication Failure

• LCD main interface "status" window prompts "comms", trip list display
"Comms Link Fault", indicating the LCD screen and controller board
communication failure. When this trip occur, please follow these steps to
find out the reason of trip
• Check the LCD screen and the controller cable if ok, crystal head should
be inserted in the outside of LCD screen (face to right) jack.
• Check the fuse of F305 and F306 at right side of SCC60 board if break.
• Check the LED2, LED301, LED302 red LED if light on , if all light off, and
the fuse F2, F301, F302 are ok, indicating SCC60 broad is damaged ,need
to to be returned for repair or replace.
• Check the LED307 red LED if light on , if light off, indicating the right
communicate port is damaged,need to to be returned for repair or replace.

Open the small pinch at back of LCD screen, you can see the 4 LED lights, the
up two red and green LED flash alternately when communication status is ok.
If both are light off, indicating the LCD is damaged; If only red LED flashing,
and the green LED flashing which located in LED305 of scc60 board, red LED
not flashing which located in LED305 at same time, indicating the scc60 board
is damaged; If the green LED located in LED305 of scc60 board and red LED
located in LED306 flash alternately, indicating the LCD is damaged.The
demaged part need to to be returned for repair or replace.
Communication Failure With The Host
SCC60 controller does not communicate directly with the host, the LCD screen
save SCC60 controller data to cache, the host computer to communicate with
the LCD screen. If the PC can not establish communication with the LCD
screen, please follow these steps to find out the reason of trip.
• Check the LCD screen and PC connection cable is ok, crystal head should
be inserted in the inside of LCD screen (face to left) jack.

• Open the small pinch at back of LCD screen, you can see the 4 LED lights,
the up two red and green LED flash alternately when communication
status is ok.
• If both are light off, please check if the host send communicate signal.If the
host send right signal, indicating the LCD is damaged, need to to be
returned for repair or replace. •
• If only the bottom green LED flashing, please check the option if of "Comm
Add","Comm Form","Baud Rate" in "Menu" menu if consistent with the host,
If the same, indicating the LCD is damaged, need to to be returned for
repair or replace.
• If the host send right signal, please contact the designer of project.

Communication Failure With The Temperature Extend Board


LCD screen displays the trip of "Ext Board Comm, "Trip", indicating the extend
boards communicate with the controller board failure. When this trip occur,
please follow these steps to find out the reason of trip
• Check the LCD screen and temperature extend board connection cable is
ok; line direction is ok, scc60 board use the left side of communication port
(TB24).
• Check the fuse of F305 and F306 at left side of SCC60 board if break.
• Check the green LED on extend board if flashing, if no flashing, indicating
extend broad is damaged, need to to be returned for repair or replace.
• In sigle compressor running mode, if scc60 board and extend board
communication ok, the green LED of LED303 and red LED of LED304
flash alternately. If only the red one flashing, please check the
commnication address of temperature extend board. In sigle compressor
running mode ("NetStart Priority"is zero in "Net"menu), the commnication
address of temperature extend board should be 1, and no other controller
on line. If both are not flashing, indicating the scc60 board is damaged,
need to to be returned for repair or replace.
• In network running mode, please check temperature extend board adress if
same as setting of "NetStart Priority" in "Net "menu.and and the can not
have the same address on line.

Parameter Can Not Save

SCC60 controller all parameters stored in the board, the temperature sensor
type data stored in temperature extend board, and parameters communicate
with host stored in the LCD screen.

If parameter can not save, please follow these steps to find out the reason of
trip
• Check the communication connection is ok.
• After modify parameters, press "Accept" button to save, and exit the menu
after a few seconds to re-enter to see if has been saved.

Some parameters need to be set in compressor stop status, in order to avoid


affecting the action of the compressor.

Temperature extend board sensor type setting need to be set by
communication, it will take some time.
No upward problem, mostly SCC60 is damaged to the motherboard, need to
to be returned for repair or replace.

Data Errors Or Failure

If scc60 collect analogue error or fault can not save, please follow these steps
to find out the reason of trip

• Check whether the controller is in a trip stop status, causing the data stop
updates.
• Check the settings for this channel sensor type is consistent with the use
sensors.
• Change the channel sensor type to be re-filtered after sampling, through
the "Reset" restore.
• Check this channel sensor wiring is ok, the wiring in the correct order.
• Check this channel sensor if damaged.
• Check whether there is brass wires orother falling objects on the board
resulting in chip pin short circuit.

No upward problem, mostly SCC60 is damaged to the motherboard, need to to


be returned for repair or replace.

Can Not Start


If scc60 controller can not start, can not save, please follow these steps to find
out the reason of trip

• Check whether the controller is in alarm status or trip stop statuses that
forbid starting.
• Check the communication connection is ok, if communication failure, the
start command can not be passed by the LCD screen to the controller.
• Check whether the controller status is "Ready" or "Start." If in "Ready"
status, check whether work in the "Remote" mode, resulting in no need to
start in remote mode; If in "Manual"mode, need manual press start button
to start compressor.If in "Start" status, please check the display second of
each window in "timer" interface, maybe because the setting time too long,
please wait be patient, or set the parameter after compressor stop.
• In auto or remote mode, please check refrigeration on point if have
refrigeration signal.
• In auto or remote mode, please check discharge press.ure value, if the
pressure high than set point, forbid to start.
• In auto or remote mode, please check the option of "Auto Start Enable" in
"Run Cond", if it is "No", forbid to auto start.
• No upward problem, mostly SCC60 is damaged to the motherboard, need
to to be returned for repair or replace.

Trip Of Start Processing


During the processing of compressor start,if quit abnormally, please follow
these steps to find out the reason of trip
• LCD screen prompts "pump feedback", after check the pump
running,check if oil pump feedback signal has input in 5 seconds
• LCD screen prompts "pump feedback Capa Sli Not At Min ",please check
the capacity slide position.lower capacity valve act on during unload,
whether the slide poisition changed.If changed ,may be due to unload
speed slowly,can set "Pump Prelube Del"value longer or restart.If no
changed,please check the capacity lower valve.
• LCD screen prompts "Oil Diff Press Low ", please check oil pump work
status, whether blocked or leaking oil. When supply oil according to 'Disc
Suet DP SP', oil pressure required 0.5Bar bigger than discharge oil
pressure;when force oil supply, required Oil difference pressure high
than "Oil Diff P LAlarm".
• LCD screen prompts "Compress Feedb ", please check 2# relay if on,
motor if running, feedback signal if input in normally.
• No upward problem, mostly SCC60 is damaged to the motherboard, need
to to be returned for repair or replace.

Emergency Stop Trip


If emergency stop during the compressor running, please follow these steps to
find out the reason of trip

• Check alarm list prompts trip information.


• Check each sensor status.
• If have temperature extend board, check communicate status and extend
board status.
• Check digital input status.
• Check feedback wire status.
• Check unuses analog channel sensor setting.
• Check control board serial number if normally, if changed, indicating the
chip memory damaged, need to to be returned for repair or replace.
• No upward problem, mostly SCC60 is damaged to the mQtherboard, need
to to be returned for repair or replace.

Alarm During Running


If display alarminformation during the compressor running, please follow these
steps to find out the reason of trip

• Check alarm list prompts alarm information.


• Check each analog input channel value.
• Some analog input channel have trip but do not stop the compressor, it
prompt information is "Fault".
• If apacity and VI channel fault, will not stop the compressor, not
automatically control the valve action in auto mode, it's need switch to
manual mode manual operate the valve.
• If display alarminformation during the compressor running, please be
careful the high-voltage input in scc60 control board, and do not use
conductive materials touch the chip on the board and other components to
avoid damage.
• Please stop and cut off the 220V power supply, then do measurement.

Controller Report Trip Immediately After Power On

• This kind of trip mostly is digital input alarm, clear thr alarm information
through "Reset" button.
• Please note that when console is powered on, push 220V power on
firstly, then for 24V power supply, to avoid this trip
• Check the emergency stop button is reset.

6 Safe Operation Attention


• The back sides of the control board are bare solder; do not put the
controller board directly on the conductor surface.
• Please confirm the wiring is correct, and the input voltage is correct, then
power on the controller.
• When multi-compressor network mode, recommend to use 24V DC power
supply; if use AC power supply, make sure the input phase-coherent.
• Do not use sharp objects to touch the controller board.
• Do not let broken wiring and other conductor scattered in controller board.
• Do not plug in the terminals when power is on.
• Terminal TB19 and TB20 are the 220V AC voltage input, terminal TB17 is
O - SA current input, do not touch it when board working.
• Based on user needs, some of the controller board has made
moisture-proof treatment, but all the ports, fuse can not moisture protection.
Please pay attention to water proof and moisture proof in the procession of
transport, storage, use.
• All fixed screw holes in controller board are connected with internal ground
are connected, please ensure that electronic control box ground wire
connection.
• Solenoid valve usually not power on for a long time, so in the test interface,
do not make raise and lower relay on for a long time.
• SCC60 controller have plexiglass cover protect board when installed in the
electrical control box; please fix the protection board after test.
• The 4 # connection at TB 1 - TB8 terminal are 24V DC voltage output,
TB 18-1 is 5V DC voltage output, TB21-2 is 24V DC voltage output, please
do not direct contact with the ground.
• When measure the fuse, please make the controller power down, remove
the fuse and measure.
The two interfaces of LCD screen of can be used as power input, only need
one way is power input, if two interface both have power inputs, it necessary
to ensure that the same two-input power supply, AC required the same phase.

terminals, cables, make sure the rest parts intact, properly packaged, send the
product to our company controller, or give it to service persons in you region.

control board, connect to LCD.It has two fumes F305 and F306 ,one red
indicator light "T",one green indicator light "R". Under normal circumstances,
the two indicator light sparkle alternate.
The TB24 is COMB communication interface terminal at left side of control
board, and connect to Temperature extend board or connect to the COMB port
of other SCC60 main board in the mode of multi-unit link.It has two fuses F303
and F304, one red indicator light "T", and one green indicator light "R". Under
normal circumstances, the two indicator light sparkle alternate.
