    Students will answer the question:
    A. Reviewing the previous lesson  What is Non-communicable diseases?
    or presenting the new lesson  Is Coranavirus/Covid-19 a non-transmitted disease?
     How about stroke and heart diseases? Justify your answer.
    B. Establishing a purpose for the Students will answer the question:

    Have the class answer the Activity 2: Photo Essay
    C. Presenting examples/instances of
    the new lesson  Directions: Describe the good practices as shown in the photo collage on
    how to prevent and control non-communicable diseases.
    D. Discussing new concepts and New concepts on Ways to Prevent and Control NCDs will be discussed to the
    practicing new skill #1 class.

    Directions: Pick the correct practices on how to prevent and control Non-
    Communicable Diseases and write it in the worksheet being provided.

    Have the class make the Activity 4: Dear Diary on p. 8

    Directions: Answer the question below using a diary form.

    2. In your right hand write all your commitment on how you can stop all the

    3. While in your left hand, write at least five (5) practices that could possibly
    lead to non-communicable diseases.

    Have the students generalize the topic being discussed. Drawn what they
    have learned from the lesson.
    H. Making generalizations and
    abstractions about the lesson Prevention is the action of stopping something from happening or arising. In
    health, prevention is controlling measures which include actions that can be
    taken to reduce the potential of exposure to risk. This good health practice can
    help us in many ways if we just follow them diligently.

    I. Evaluating Learning Have the class answer the Assessment pp. 10-11

    For additional activity, let the students perform activity 7.
