    APPLICATIONS

    TOTAL RUBIA TIR 8800 10W-40 is a high-performance synthetic lubricant suitable for use in on-road diesel heavy-
    duties.

    This lubricant enables coverage of a fleet of mixed brands, composed of American, such as Cummins, and European
    manufacturers, with a minimal number of products.

    TOTAL RUBIA TIR 8800 10W-40 is adapted to Euro 5 and previous engines, with approvals of Mercedes-Benz,
    MAN, Volvo and Renault Trucks.

    PERFORMANCES AND CUSTOMER BENEFITS

    High quality synthetic base stocks combined with high-performance additives make TOTAL RUBIA TIR 8800 10W-40
    an excellent performance lubricant.

    Excellent detergent, antioxidant and anti-corrosion properties help to reach extended oil drain intervals
    defined by the manufacturer and reduce maintenance costs.

    TOTAL RUBIA TIR 8800 10W-40 exhibits a very high T.B.N level (14 mgKOH/g) to neutralize acid compounds and
    prevent their corrosive attack.

    The association of detergent, dispersant and anti-wear additives keeps the engine’s most sensitive parts
    clean and enables effective control of soot, sludge and piston deposits.

    Excellent piston cleanliness performance confers efficient protection against cylinder liner polishing.

    RECOMMENDATIONS

    Before using the product, it is important to check the service manual of the vehicle: the drain is carried out according
    to the manufacturer's requirements.

    The product should not be stored at a temperature above 60 °C. Exposure to strong sunlight, extreme cold or high
    temperature variations must be avoided.

    All packages should be protected from bad weather conditions. The drums should be stored horizontally to avoid a
    possible contamination by water and the damage of the product label.
