business are well-trained, well-equipped, and credible enough to accomplish
ensuring quality service.
Mr.Fix Corporation does not just ensure quality service, but also keep the
customer worry-free. The business will give the less hassle feel in looking for
household repair and maintenance because in Mr.Fix Corporation, Problem No

Key Issues
The key issues of Mr.Fix Corporation are: First, household repair and
installation are growing rapidly, continually expanding into new and diverse
categories. Second, consumer reports’ tests did not find actual quality differences
among services, it is important that our consumer are well satisfy and happy on the
service they acquire. Third, some of the household repairers and installer, know little
about this job, this is the big reason why costumer think that professional are too
expensive while it is just and right price for their work. Fourth, some household
repairs and installation can be done by the ordinary people. And last people are price
shoppers, and being a customer it is natural to be cost-conscious.

Mr.Fix Corporation recognizes when a prospective customer calls to get
information about household repair and installation, it is the company best
opportunity to turn them into a customer, to do so, the company will spend as much
time on the phone as is necessary.
Another benefit that company will leverage to develop is an advertisement to
help the company known by the potential customers. In addition to all of the
traditional household repair and installation, Mr.Fix Corporation will offer many
categories of repairs and installation at its best lower price.  An quality service also
see as a large benefit not only to the customer but also in the name of the company. 

Marketing Goals
Mr.Fix Corporation marketing goal will be on developing visibility among
community.  This will be accomplished through two main efforts.
The first is social media. Facebook and Twitter, with useful posts offering
information about Mr.Fix Corporation, information about the services and so forth.
We will ensure a consistent presence, with useful content, and also to provide a
quality service. “Social media is word of mouth on steroids”. 
The second is a targeted advertising campaign.  Advertisements will be placed
in various social media platforms.  Additionally, Mr.Fix Corporation will advertise
in a different platforms. These advertisements should be seen by lots of people by
putting an effort on it.

Mr.Fix Corporation requires manpower in order to fully operate. The
following are the possible supplier of the organization:
Tork Philippines Incorporated is a provider of preventive building maintenance in
the Philippines It has already built a strong reputation in preventive building
maintenance for over 22 years in the industry. With more than 200 employees, the
company has developed different preventive maintenance programs to its 10 major
clients from both government and private sectors.
Integrated Contractor and Plumbing Works, Inc. offers plumbing services,
sanitary/plumbing and fire protection works for commercial and industrial buildings.
MB Plumbing and Electrical Services provides plumbing and electrical works and
installation for commercial establishments.

TRANSPORTATION
Mr.Fix Corporation as an on-call service requires vehicles in order to
transfer its worker from one location to another to provide services, and its possible
supplier is the Honda Motor Co., Ltd. which main activities are production and sales
of automobiles, motorcycles, and power products.

OFFICE SPACE
Mr.Fix Corporation as a starting business decides to rent a space for the
main office of the organization and its possible provider is Prime Philippines
Property Interactive Marketing Enterprise (PRIME) is one of the most trusted real
estate service firms in the Philippines.

operation; it is divided into two and stored in different facilities of the business.
Wherein the store supplies and automotive vehicles are stored in the warehouse of the
business, while the manpower and store supplies are directed to the main office of the
business which is located at 1403 Filinvest Road, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

The reorder level and the minimum level of stock of store supplies and office
supplies of Mr.Fix Corporation are as follows: The maximum demand is 7,300
supplies per year and the average demand is 3,650 supplies per year. The average lead
time is 57 days and the maximum lead time is 64 days.

Solution
Maximum demand per day: 7,300 supplies/365 days = 20 supplies
Average demand per day: 3,650supplies/365 days = 10 supplies
Reorder level = (Maximum demand × Maximum lead time)
= (20 units × 64 days)

STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT PLAN


Labour Requirements and Skills
  Plumbing: includes the repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes,
hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, water-dispensing
refrigerators, and washing machines.

Electrical: includes the repair, replacement or installation of power switches,


fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems, and garage
doors openers.

Drywall repair: includes filling in small holes caused by nails and minor


dings from normal wear and tear most commonly performed between the time a
tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes occupancy.
Painting: includes minor touch-ups following damage repair and new coats of
paint applied to unit walls between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter
assumes occupancy.

Appliance repair: includes the repair, replacement or installation of major


household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, range ovens, washers and
dryers, hot water tanks, and air conditioners.

Grounds keeping: includes mowing grass, pulling weeds, trimming and


pruning trees and shrubs, watering lawns and plants, replacing light bulbs along
pathways and parking areas, sweeping or raking leaves, and tidying up bark or other
ground covering.

Cleaning/housekeeping: includes maintaining a tidy appearance in shared


community locations, such as the leasing office lobby, clubhouses, and fitness or
recreational areas also includes cleaning fixtures, floors and other surfaces in vacated
units before new renters assume occupancy.

Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous


correspondence with renters when scheduling and providing maintenance services,
and with contracted vendors that provide additional facility services.

Time management: includes maintaining an organized scheduling and


tracking system, usually on a computer, to effectively complete all maintenance
requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level
of urgency.

Staffing Strategies
Mr.Fix Corporation has ten (10) workers and these are classified into three
categories: electrician, carpenter, and plumber. The business has only three (3)
electricians per day, five (5) carpenters and two (2) plumbers. These workers has a
three set of schedule namely: Set A(off on Fridays and Saturdays), Set B(off on
Sundays and Mondays) , and Set C (off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). On its
everyday operation there are only three (3) electricians, two (2) plumbers and two (2)
carpenters available or on-standby.
