its equivalent. Applicants with GWA of lower than 87% may be admitted at the discretion of
the Dean, based on the results of the interview. A new student may be admitted on
probationary status, which can be converted into a regular status provided that he/she meets
the minimum grade average prescribed by the graduate studies.

5. Referrals from three former professors, administrators and/or employers must be submitted
upon application.
6. Original copy of valid Transcript of Records (Photocopy for SMU graduate).
7. Two recent (2” x 2”) colored photos with plain white background (print complete name at the

8. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal (if not a graduate of SMU).
9. Marriage Contract (if married female) (1 photocopy; 1 original copy).
10. PSA authenticated Birth Certificate (2 photocopies; 1 original copy).
11. Transfer credentials if transferring from another school

The master of engineering program is a non-thesis program prepared to provide Total 42

ME CIVIL ENGINEERING CURRICULUM Comprehensive Examination Requirements
1. Eligibility for the Comprehensive Examination is based upon meeting the following criteria:
