Detailed Photographs of cables laid to be submitted by the contractor at 50 metre intervals and costs for the same to be considered during quoting of
rates for cable laying.

Under rare circumstances, the contractor may be made to lay more than 20 cables, as per the instructions of the department head, For cables > 20 Nos

5 Bulk Excavation & Filling 100
5.1 Submit longitudinal profile drawing along the cu metre
road in Micro station/ AutoCAD format,
indicating the levels of existing ground,

DEWA.
*-Protection of roads by shoring & services by means of steel plate supports, wooden boxes etc.as required by the concerned authorities. Dewatering for
identifying services and for the execution of drilling (including well point method). Site safety arrangements in accordance with prevailing DEWA/RTA
standards and any amendments thereof during the contract period including concrete barriers etc. Obtaining permit to work and service drawing from
developers, consultants, service authorities and entry passes where applicable. Payment of fees for Permit to work, entry passes, service drawings,
Traffic police approval etc. Supply & Installation of duct markers in RTA roads and for service line crossings.
**- All documents including but not limited to traffic diversions proposal plan & cross sectional drawings for drilling, road cutting or Bore Holes
using AutoCAD drawing up to A1 size, hard and soft copies (for taking pre-drive levels, monitoring the drilling and for emergency road blocking) for
obtaining drilling/road cutting NOCs. Site photographs, level sheets and all other documents required are included.
Notes:
1. Ducts, sockets, ropes and end caps for drilling and duct extension shall be provided by the contractor, material approval from DEWA
to be obtained by the contractor for prior use.
2. Road works to be carried out by RTA/DM approved road contractor
3. Horticulture/landscaping Main Contractor should appoint DM/RTA approved specialised Horticulture and landscaping Contractor to carry
out the job.
