The charts are very useful for everyday work, e.g. to decide
whether a medication is right or not. By no means, do they
substitute a thorough anamnesis, understanding of the patient or
the subsequent analysis. Do not use the charts in a simple
manner! Read and understand Dr. Vijayakars books beforehand!
Günter Lutz
Why I wrote this book?
Many hints, of course, are not new, parts of them are from his
books turned into charts. Just this form is practical for every day
work. The Entry points and above all, the Rule outs help to find
the right remedy.
Please review all suggestions and open your mind for these and
those new aspects. Thoroughly assess the patient’s reaction at the
follow-up!

These rubrics and dispositions are neither repertory rubrics nor they
are complete in all respect. These traits are very important for Dr.
Vijayakar, most of them show innate characteristics.
The remedies given are commonly indicated and are only given here
as a guideline. Sometimes if there is no alphabetical order, then only
the most important remedies are shown.

1. Location to location:
In the same organ eg. eczema or vitiligo spots on the lower
limbs getting better and appearing on the upper limb.
2. Organ to organ:
In the same system eg. nasopharynx to the larynx i.e.
pharyngitis to laryngitis to bronchitis. Aphthae on the tip of the
tongue disappear after the remedy only to appear on the
posteriorly on the fauces. Pain in the neck due to cervical
spondylitis disappears to give rise to hoarseness, i.e. the
inflammation on the cervical cartilage gets transferred to
inflammation on the vocal cords.
5. Miasmatic transfer
From one miasm to another e.g. psora to sycosis.
E.g.: A child suffering from tendency to recurrent bronchitis
getting better only to suffer from hypertension or getting a
tendency to developing lipomas.
Attention:
Healing always has to move from Syphilis to Psora and from an
internal layer (e.g. Cell) to an external layer (e.g. Ectoderm).
PSORA
The behaviour both on physical as well as mental will have a
certain pattern. Following properties will influence the behaviour:
Sensitivity, Irritability, Hypersensitivity, Anxiety, Appprehension.
The behaviour is concerned with daily needs, work normal

5. DIFFERENTIATIONS
Quick Remedies
Personal Notes, G. Lutz, Mahabaleshwar February 2007
Op.: Brain is used to keep vigil (all senses are acute) leading to
courageousness or become eloquent speaker, a good talented writer,
and gigantic planner, with contentment.
Lach.: Brain is used to go ahead in life or get work done making him
manipulative and sometimes people, very fast to answer, quick in
solutions, snake-like, find their way out. In Syphilis they become
extremely prophetic. Does this child understand more to the age, do
you have to go out of the room, when talking. Touch agg.
Playing antics.
(Even Puls. can never tolerate warm drinks. Everything warm agg. If
everything, it is Puls., but if love for warm food is there, it is never
Puls., because it is genetically determined).
Phos. does not even tolerate putting hands in warm water. Phos. gets
nausea when putting the hand in warm water.
Sulph.: Uses his brain in going round and round in thoughts, theories
and planning that never gets anywhere.
Iodum: Very quick, very agile, extremely hot with excessive hunger.
Very much sensitive, gets hurt easily. Restless.

Sadness
I. Stadler, Mumbai, „Mini Mahabaleshwar Seminar“ April 2004
Ammoniums
Everything in Ammonium is too short. Shortening.
Mixture of the anger of Nux-v. and the sadness of Nat-m., they can get angry.
Magnesiums
Most of these children don´t take breakfast. Sensitive inside, don´t react outside,
Carbons
Sycosis, slow, sluggish, Stasis. Fat. Flabby. Slow Circulation. Everything stays inside –
sent from Psora into Sycosis, they want air, similar to Staphisagria. No activity, anger
agg. Constipation. Never well since illness, jaundice. After a collapse they go into
Syphilis. Most suppressed is Carb-v.

Chapter 5 – DIFFERENTIATIONS
Chapter 5 – DIFFERENTIATIONS
Nux-v: Puls:
Chilly + thirsty Hot + thirstless
Intolerant to noise of T.V., children Weeping patient, wants
playing. Thirst is excessive. consolation, pity, wants help from
Nux-v. never tolerates touch – this everyone, is better when people
is different to Coloc. (they want are around or when reassured,
pressing) changeable in symptoms and
moods and thirst and thermals.
Ars: Nat-m:
Chilly + thirstless Hot + thirsty
or thirst for sips of warm water; (large quantity at long interval)
Desires warm food, not angry but Hates pity, sympathy does not like
just silently irritated; does not talk visitors to come and see him when
much; wants every thing in place unwell; therefore never tells about
and everything in time and things his sickness to anyone. Wants only
in perfect order; Angry when one person around.
forced to eat. Criticises wife for
inefficiency.
Coloc: Bry:
Problems start after indignation. Hot + thirsty
Thirst excessive. PRESSURE amel. (large quantity at short interval)
Remains still in bed, movements
Arn: aggravate; pressure amel.
Aversion to people whom he loves Dry person, does not look at people
very much (what otherwise gives who are sitting next to him.
relief is now not wanted). Does not
like sons or daughters to come
near him, does not like BED which
hurts, changes his position
constantly in bed.
Ailments start after money
problem.
Says there is nothing wrong
with me.
Ph-ac.:
Chilly + thirstless
Silent; irritated, resigned to his
fate. Ailment starts after vexation.
Desires refreshing juices and
drinks.
If anger is not only when questions are asked but also otherwise – then other
ANGRY REMEDIES should be thought about. --> Angry disposition
CHILLY HOT
KALI-AR, NIT-AC, PHEL, Calc-s
Calc, Calc-p, Calc-sil, Calc-s, Chin-ar, Puls
Calad, Phos, Ph-ac, Sep Sulph
Nit-ac:
While anxious, the Nit-ac patient starts travelling, i.e. takes a car
or travels in train and goes away, this ameliorates their anxiety.
--> Riding in a carriage amel. (not open air amel.!)
Phel:
Very angry and irritable, very similar to Nux-v with severe
neuralgic headaches. Sensation as if something is striking against
a metal. Clanging headaches, like bells ringing after overuse of
eyes and an aversion to water and light.
Sulph:
Anxiety about health prevents the patient from getting
investigations done, as he is not ready to face the future. He is
afraid if anything comes out positive, will he get all right or not. If
something comes out positive, what will happen, therefore he will
rationalize the whole situation, he will give excuses for not getting
the investigations done.
He will flatter you a lot. He will say: “Doctor if you give me
medicines, I will be all right.”
Chin-ar:
China-element:
Weak, indolent, gastric problems motion agg. & empty stomach
agg. The patient will complain, but is not aggressive. Constantly
complaining, tormented feeling, reverse frown, aversion to being
disturbed: “Leave me as I am”.
Ars-element:
Problems arise after a loss in business, critical, censorious,
restlessness is better by motion, fear of disease esp. cancer.
This remedy has A/F excessive joy (Coff.), prior to the sadness
and the tormented feeling was a history of excessive joy.
Calad:
Lyc:
Should not be mentioned in anxiety about health, it is fear of
suffering. He is a coward. He fears that if I suffer, will I be able to
bear it.
