    Name I&I DEGREASER CONCENTRATE


    No. 1151
    Description This I&I degreaser concentrate formulation is specially formulated with a solvent, builder, and
    surfactant that will cut through heavy, grimy grease and dirt. It can be easily diluted to tackle
    any tough cleaning job.
    Formulation INGREDIENTS: % by Weight Functionality

    BIO-SOFT® GSB-9 21.0 Wetting Agent
    Dowanol PnB (Dow) Propylene Glycol n-Butyl Ether 8.8 Solvent
    Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate 3.5 Builder
    BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S 28.7 Hydrotrope

    Total 100.0
    Procedure 1. Charge Water.
    2. With good agitation, slowly blend ingredients in the order listed above.
    3. Mix until homogenous.
    Physical Appearance, as is Clear liquid
    Properties pH, as is 14.0
    pH, 1:64 (2 oz/gal) dilution 10.0
    Viscosity at 25ºC, cps Water thin
    Storage/ Freeze thaw, 3 cycles Pass
    Stability 4 weeks at 25ºC Pass
    4 weeks at 50ºC Pass
    4 weeks at 4ºC Pass
    Instructions For general degreasing, dilute 1:64.
    for Use For tougher chores, dilute 1:32 or use full strength.
    Test Method: ASTM D4488-95, A5, method for all-purpose/dilutable household and I&I cleaners;
    ASTM Book of Standards, Volume 15.04, D4488-95, Section A5.
    Dilution Results (1:64): 76% soil removed.
