Direction: Define and discuss the following concepts:
1. Health
Health is the general condition of the body or mind, especially in terms of the presence or
absence of illnesses, injuries and Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social
well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
2. Diet
Diet is the sum of food consumed by a person or other organism. The word diet often implies
the use of specific intake of nutrition for health or weight-management.

etiquette, which are specifically accepted rules within a culture for the application of universal

5. Composure
Composure is the state or feeling of being calm and in control of oneself. An example of of
composure is when something upsetting happens but you remain calm and collected instead
becoming overly emotional.
Direction: explain your views on the effect of the following practices to one’s image and
physical health.
Lack of Personal Hygiene can lead to some minor side effects, like body odor and greasy skin.
They can also lead to serious issues. For example, if you don’t wash your hands frequently,
you can easily transfer germs and bacteria to your mouth or eyes.
Lack of social graces can negatively affect the well-being of others and maybe our gradual loss
of social graces has the potential to harm others, sometimes encouraging or reinforcing the
development of social anxiety.” Sa madaling salita ito ay isa sa mga nag bibigay nang
pagkablisa
o pagkalumbay ng buhay ng isang tao.”
3. Bad Posture
The most common negative effects of bad posture are soreness and pain. This pain can be in
the back, neck, or shoulders and can lead to poor circulation in the body. Since one of the
effects of bad posture are lower confidence; less motivation can also stem bad posture.
4. Filthy Surroundings
Ang pag kakaroon ng maruming kapaligiran (Filthy Surroundings) ay nag dudulot satin
ng masamang epekto sa kalusugan, kaya pwede tayo mag kasakit. Kapag marumi ang
kapaligiran magiging matamlay ang buhay natin hindi tayo masyadong makakain ng
maayos kaya makakaapekto ito sa kalusugan natin.

ginagalang niya ang bawat tao sa kapaligiran at malamang sa malamang ito ay
maunawain at masipag dahil may respeto ito sa pila.
