The Liner Casing Packer is a hydraulic set packer designed to hang the liner string in
the casing, providing isolation from above and below. The Liner Casing Packer is
designed for a wide casing range, allowing it to be deployed in diverse applications
including heavier weight casing. A locking, bi-directional slip design eliminates any
concerns of premature setting or breaking slips during running operations. The latch
unit and liner top have a built-in clutch feature which allows for liner rotation up to
the maximum thread torque. This feature also incorporates a 1.5 inch (38.1 mm) free
point which provides simple rotation and removal of the drill / tie back string even in
high deviation applications. With the Gryphon liner and latch assembly, the latch is
the running tool making this ‘one trip system’ another option for saving completion
costs.
Additionally, the Liner Casing Packer has the option of an upper Polished Bore

The Liner Casing Packer Setting Tool is engineered to be ran in conjunction with the Liner
Casing Packer. It is designed as a secondary setting mechanism for the Liner Casing Packer.
The setting tool consists of three major components. The dual stage pump out plug, cup
mandrel assembly & a latch seal unit. The latch unit has a built-in clutch feature which
allows for liner rotation up to the maximum thread torque as well as a 1.5 inch (38.1 mm)
free point which provides simple rotation and removal of the drill / tie back string even in
high deviation applications. The dual stage pump out plug allows fluid to be pumped
through the ID until a ball is launched and lands in the pump out plug, which stops the flow
of fluid, isolating the setting tool and allowing pressure to set the Liner Casing Packer.
Once the packer is set, tubing pressure can be increased until the pump out plug shears
and once again flow is established.
The Latch Seal Unit provides a positive anchoring of the production tubing to the
liner casing packer preventing upward movement of the tubing due to pressure or
tension. The latch automatically latches by engaging threads on the packer and is
released by right hand rotation. A clutch feature built into the latch body allows liner
rotation up to maximum thread torque. This feature also provides a 1.5 inch (38.1
mm) free point which allows for simple rotation and removal of the drill/tie back
string even in high deviation applications. Designed to provide a dependable, leak-
proof seal between a seal bore packer and the production string, this seal assembly
features the field proven Chevron Type V-Seal design in an opposed seal
configuration using metal back up and spacer rings.

The Locator Seal Unit is used to locate and seal the end of a tieback casing string into
the receptacle installed on the top of the liner top packer. It can be used in
conjunction with a hold down body to ensure that a pressure tight seal is maintained
when the pressure in the casing is increased, such as during fracturing treatment
operations. Designed to provide a dependable, leak-proof seal between a packer
seal bore and the casing string, this seal assembly features the field proven Chevron
type v-seal design in an opposed seal configuration using metal back up and spacer
rings. For horizontal applications where string rotation is very limited, the Locator
Seal Unit can be anchored by adding the Gryphon hold down body above the locator
seal unit to provide an anchor.

The Hold Down Body is a reliable pressure actuated hold down device which is
designed to be run above a Locator Seal Assembly. This design is ideal for horizontal
wells where rotation of the string is limited. When tubing pressure exceeds annulus
pressure, the hydraulic hold down slips are forced outward against the casing wall,
ensuring positive anchoring and eliminating any upward movement of the string.
When the annulus pressure exceeds the tubing pressure, the hydraulic hold down
slips automatically retract.

The Short Open Hole Packer is a hydraulic set packer designed to provide isolation
between open hole frac stages. The large bore I.D. allows future milling / retrieving
and service tools to pass through without issue. The short design facilitates reliable
deployment through aggressive build sections in the well bore and eliminates the
need for handling pup joints, reducing completion costs. The Short Open Hole
Packer comes standard with an integrated rotating, hardened, low friction
centralizer to help ensure smooth installation of liner systems. Because of it’s
proximity to the element, the centralizer provides improved element stand-off in
the open hole section providing a more reliable seal. An anti-extrusion back up ring
system provides improved element pack off, allowing for reliable sealing in open
hole sections.

The Flow Lock Collar is a ball activated tubing isolation valve, designed to
allow the liner system to be set after the wellbore has been circulated with the
desired fluid. A ball is circulated down the tubing until it lands on the flow lock
seat. Pressure is applied from above until the predetermined activation
pressure is achieved, shifting a piston which locks into the closed position and
permanently shuts off the liner until the frac is initiated. Pressure can now be
increased to set the remaining liner components.

The Cem Wiper Plug is designed to clean cement from the extended
larger I.D. areas of the wellbore while being able expand and collapse
without buckling to maintain its cleaning action in cavities of valve
sleeves.
The series of specially designed wiper fins are durable enough to wipe the
casing I.D. and cavities inside fracturing sleeves to ensure that the valve
sleeves can be shifted after the cementing operations are complete. Once
wiping is completed, the wiper plug seals in the landing collar, preventing
flow back.

The SUREjet Casing Collar Locator is utilized to indicate tool depth on wells with
casing collar gaps, such as casing with LTC threads. The locating dogs snap into the
collar gaps of each casing connection, providing an overpull indication as the tool
travels up the wellbore. This overpull indication can be compared with the pipe tally
to provide accurate depth confirmation when it is required, such as when
perforating with the SUREjet System.

The Compression Unloader Valve is a compact and versatile unloader valve for
fracturing with the SUREshift System. This valve can be utilized for both fracturing
down tubing or fracturing down the annulus. The compression unloader is equipped
with a specially designed locking system which allows the valve to be locked in the
closed position by pressurizing the tubing.
When utilized for fracturing down the annulus, the compression unloader is
installed below the SUREshift shifting tool and is used to allow flow out of the tubing
during the fracturing procedure. This keeps the tubing and abrasive jetting ports
clear in case of a sand off and allows for high rates of circulation if a sand off occurs.
When used fracturing down the tubing, the unloader is installed above the
SUREshift shifting tool and is used as the flow port. The heat-treated components of
the Compression Unloader Valve are designed for long life in highly abrasive
environments. If there is a need to abrasive jet cut, the unloader is closed, locked and
then pumping down the tubing will allow the abrasive cutter to be utilized.

Thru Tubing WR Plug
The SUREplug Thru Tubing WR Plug is a retrievable bridge plug which can be
conveyed and set on wireline, slickline or hydraulically set on coil tubing using a
hydraulic setting tool. It is commonly used for well or zone isolation while fracturing,
acidizing, cementing, testing or well head repair operations. The WR is generally set
using wireline, allowing the plug to be logged on depth and accurately placed in the
well. Conveying the plug into the well by jointed or coil tubing allows the operator to
place the plug in a deviated well where wireline or slickline is not an option.

Blue Cap Shoe Track System
The Gryphon Blue Cap Shoe Track System is a reliable, cost effective solution for
achieving a maximum casing integrity test and initiating intervention-less
communication with the reservoir in a cemented production string application,
without the use of a toe valve or TCP. The system is a unique design that pairs the
advantages of a wet shoe application with a shoe track system, compliant with
integrity testing and hydraulic fracturing regulatory requirements. Components
consist of top and bottom cement wiper plugs with integrated ball seats, latch-in
profile landing collar and compatible float equipment. The shoe track can be
shortened to reclaim lateral length by connecting the float components directly to
each other, allowing for stimulation of more lateral acreage. Cementing operations
are conducted as usual, launching top and bottom latch and seal wiper plugs as per
procedure, while carefully monitoring fluid displacement. Once complete, a
dissolvable ball is pumped to a seat integrated into the top wiper plug, allowing for
the desired casing test to be obtained. After a short time, the ball dissolves
completely and access to the well is regained allowing for first stage pumping
operations to begin.
The Blue Cap system can be tailored to meet specific well applications and includes
optional 5,000 or 10,000 psi (34 or 69 MPa) back pressure rated float equipment.
As an added safeguard, each wiper plug is designed to be both a top or bottom plug,
removing the risk of launching the incorrect plug.
