LEARNING OUTLINES:

Pre Lesson 1. Recap previous lesson.

1. Pupils are introduced to preposition of time. A few sentences are written on the
board using days and months. Options of in and on are given.
Lesson Development 2. Pupils are called out to answer.
3. Pupils are given a board game in groups. Pupils practice the usage of in and on.
4. Distribute worksheet to pupils.
5. Pupils individually fill in and circle the correct answers.

Post Lesson 1. Check the answers.

LEARNING OUTLINES:

1. Introduce warm and cool season by showing flashcards.


Pre Lesson 2. Stick them on the board and draw a circle around them.
3. Brainstorm the activities that people can do during the warm and cool season.
4. Write pupils’ responses on the board to create a bubble map.

1. Display a song chart on the board and teach pupils to sing the Seasons song words
to the tune of Frère Jacques.
2. Ask them to choose actions for the song and perform the song again with the
actions.
Lesson Development 3. Elicit the pattern of the song from pupils: ( Name of season x2, Adjectives x2, -ing
verbs x3,With our friends x2)
4. Organise pupils into groups of 4–5 and ask them to choose new words and actions
for the song.
5. Pupils practice their song.
6. They can choose a song either about the warm season or the cool season if they
prefer.

Post Lesson 1. Pupils perform their songs with actions for their classmates.
2. Pupils copy their song into their exercise books.
