If we add 1 finger , how many fingers are there in all?
If we add or combine 3 fingers to 3 fingers,how many fingers are there altogether?

2.Use other real objects and illustrations then let pupils perform what the teacher will say.
Get 3 pencils and place it on your left hand and 4 pencils on your right hand.
Put together the pencils at your right hand.
Now count them all.So, how many pencils are there in all?
Give more examples to deepen pupils’ understanding.
