Impact of New Normal Education System in Your Life
“We sense that ‘normal’ isn’t coming back, that we are being born into a new
normal: a new kind of society, a new relationship to the earth, a new experience of
being human.” – Charles Eisenstein.
According to the quotation said by Eisenstein, we can say that the vast number of
changes that happened inside the new ‘normal’ had massively affected our everyday
lives. The moment we step out of our houses, the new ‘normal’ calls for social
distancing and all of us are required to follow the precautions issued by the government.
Everyone across the globe needs to adapt to the new normal ways of doing things as
this will also served as a new experience as a part of being human. Wearing mask is
not unusual and not a new experience for some, but not for the majority of the affected.
As an introvert person, the new normal doesn’t really affected me that much except
for I can’t buy the books that I want to read. My personality doesn’t allow myself to
consume too much energy so even if the new normal haven’t implemented yet, I have
no issue of not going out. Though as a student, it greatly affected the classes I’m about
to take and the way of learning I have to learn. For example, online learning and classes
requires technologies to be used and even though I don’t have a problem on the
technology to be used, adjusting to learn to use it can be pretty hard for me as I am a
book person. Aside from that, I also need to learn to understand the modules on my
own and I’m not say saying that the teachers can’t help but there are also other
students to be taught. Some problems that I have encountered are internet connectivity
which sometimes lead to unstable network and a sudden power shortage.
