Ans: the Indus delta and its tributaries which originate from the northern mountain dominate the
drainage pattern of northern mountains. The river Indus starts its journey from the Karakorum range
passing trough Hindu Kush at attock, Kabul joins river indus. River Indus southern turn to calabash and
enters into plain areas. The eastern tributaries originate from Himalia and after passing through Kashmir
enter into plain are where they join river indus.
