    2 Neural network and hybrid techniques to estimate SoC:

    As discussed in Part A, there are several sophisticated methods to determine battery SoC such
    as BP neural network method, Kalman filter method and so on. Given access to a credible
    training dataset and a good understanding of neural network, one can model SoC estimation
    into a regression problem and determine the appropriate weights to understand the influence
    of the various factors affecting the SoC of battery.

    7.3 Using tools like CANoe/CANalyzer:

    Future groups can also work with tools such as CANoe to model and simulate V2X
    communication and security systems. These are used by the OEMs themselves and are
    extremely useful for research into the field of electric vehicles.
