At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

1. Read and write numbers in the form of symbols and words.


2. Interpret the numbers in symbol and words.
3. Familiarize with the numbers.

1. The teacher will discuss how to read and write numbers up to 100 000 in
words and in numbers.
Given:
a. The Bureau of Forest Development donated three seedlings to
each pupil in Region 2. The total number of seedlings donated
was 64 821.
b. In 2013, Brgy. San Sebastian harvested 56 784 kilograms of
Mangoes.

C. Abstraction
“Complete the Cheque”

Directions:
1. The teacher will divide the class into two groups.
2. Each group will be given a cheque to complete and fill in what is missing.
3. If they done with the cheques, they will show it to the class and present it.
