    Introduction

    In this document we’ll talk aboaut the lif nof a poetist called Edgar Allan Poe, a person that
    have a really interesting life that we hope you enjoy.
    Edgar Allan Poe
    SEMBLANCE
    Poe's paternal great-grandfather, John Poe, emigrated
    from Ireland to the United States in the eighteenth
    century and became a farmer, marrying an
    Englishwoman. David and Elizabeth had seven
    children. The mayor, David, was the father of Edgar
    David Poe son, a law student, left this career to become
    an actor.30 32 In 1804 he met the beautiful Miss
    Arnold - an actress of great charm and with an
    extensive repertoire: he came to represent about two
    hundred papers—, which was married at the time with
    a Mr. Hopkins, who would die shortly after. David and
    Elizabeth married six months later and settled in
    Boston, Massachusetts, where their first two children
    were born.

    CHILDHOOD
    Edgar Allan Poe lost his parents, traveling theater actors, when he was just two years old.
    Little Edgar was educated by John Allan, a wealthy businessman from Richmond. Poe's
    relationships with his adoptive father were traumatic; also the early death of his mother
    would become one of his recurring obsessions. From 1815 to 1820 he lived with John Allan
    and his wife in the United Kingdom, where he began his education.

    Things that marked his life

    Edgar allan poe, had really serious problems with


    money, but in this time, especificly in his puberty, the
    economic problems were a fundamental thing to made
    him a succesfull writer. At the age of 18 he wrote his
    first book called Tamerlane when he enlist to the
    militia.

    Years after he aquired an important position at a


    editorial at son to become an important magazine, he
    become famous for scathing books, and this made
    him growing in the literature world.
    Jhon P Kennedy position him as an important editor,
    but when edgar were discover at his drunkenness
    several times he get fired.
    On 1845 he published his most famous story called the crow, that made him a global
    famous.
    An interesting fact: his death were as enigmathic as him, Poe was found “worse for the
    wear” and delirious at Baltimore, he was taken to a hospital where he died after de age of
    40. His death is still a misterious for us, one of the reasons is because theres no autopsy.

    Impact on the society


    Its been huge infuential on the world of the literature, he establish the standars for the
    gothic and detective fiction.
    Poe inventitive use of language made him to coin some of his own words.
    He impact in the literature in all the world.
