V. Course Description :

A study of Insurance Code and related laws, including the concepts and functions of
insurance, the nature of the insurance contract, insurable interest, special forms of insurance and
government regulations of the insurance business.

VII. Course Learning Outcomes :

a. To demonstrate understanding of the legal concepts and rules governing the Law on
Sales.
b. To demonstrate skills in the practical application of the different provision on Law
on Sales.
c. To demonstrate proficiency in understanding the basic elements of such law.
d. To gain understanding of the different legal terminologies used in practice involving
sale transactions.
e. To demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the importance of the Law on Sales.

IX. Class Policies

1. Only officially enrolled students are allowed to attend their classes.


2. All students are required to attend their classes regularly.
3. Attendance is counted from the first regular class meeting.
4. Punctuality is a must to all students.
5. Validated student identification card must always be worn by all students while
attending classes.
6. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly.
7. Cheating is strictly prohibited.
8. Students who incur absences equivalent to more 20% of the course hours required shall
be dropped from the course provided he/she has not taken any exam.
9. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled.
10. No special exam shall be given to any student unless she/he will secure first a special
exam slip signed by the Dean and the Law Professor.
11. Honesty is called for at all times.
