(Spotting the Issues, Resolutions, and Facts of a Case)

Brief Meaning
Issues – question of facts or law raised in a proceeding for
proper resolution or disposition
Eaxmples; (1) Whether or not the plaintiff is entitled to recover
the property.
(2) Whether or not he accused is quality of
falsification of public documents defined & penalized under
Article 171 of the Revised Penal Code.

Resolution- the answer to the issue. In the resolution, the


adjudicating body states the applicable law, rules, and
jurisprudence and state why such law, rules, and jurisprudence
are applicable from the facts of the case

Facts- incidents, things, evidence that are proven to have


occurred, existed or be true that are material to the resolution of
the case.
