EXERCISE ROUTINE
REFLECTIVE LEARNING
1. Aerobic Activities are also called “cardio” exercise normally these activities increase our heart and breathing rate
these activities cause us to sweat profusely and breathe harder. Muscle Strengthening Activities are exercises in
which groups of muscles work or hold against a force or some weight. It helps build good muscle strength. Bone
Strengthening Activities the bone growth is stimulated by physical stress. As skeletal muscles contract, they pull
their attachment on bones causing physical stress. This consequently stimulates bone tissue making it stronger and
thicker. Such bone strengthening activities can increase bone density throughout our skeletal system.
2. Regular physical activity of moderate intensity such as walking, cycling or doing sports has significant for the
health. At all ages, the benefits of being physically active outweigh potential harm to health. By becoming more
active throughout the day in relatively simple ways, people can be physically fit and healthy.

earth. the air of a locality the stuffy atmosphere of the waiting room. a surrounding influence or environment
an atmosphere of hostility.
2. Energy – a power of capacity to be active: strength of body or mind to do things work (a person of great intellectual
energy). Natural power vigorously exerted: vigorous action (work with energy).
3. Gravity – Gravity is a force of attraction that exists between any two masses, any two bodies, any two
particles. Gravity is not just the attraction between objects and the Earth. It is an attraction that exists between all
objects, everywhere in the universe.
4. Magnetosphere – the region surrounding the earth or another astronomical body in which its magnetic field is the
predominant effective magnetic field.
5. Water – a transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid, a compound of hydrogen and oxygen, H2O.
6. Ozone – a form of O3 of oxygen that has three atoms in the molecule, is a faintly blue irritating gas with pungent
odor.
7. Photosynthesis – synthesis of chemical compounds with aid of radiant energy especially formation of
carbohydrates from carbon dioxide and water by the chlorophyll containing tissues of plants exposed to light.
8. Moon – The Moon is an astronomical body orbiting Earth and is the planet's only natural satellite. It is the fifth-
largest satellite in the Solar System, and by far the largest among planetary satellites relative to the size of the planet
that it orbits
9. Goldilocks – The Goldilocks Zone refers to the habitable zone around a star where the temperature is just right -
not too hot and not too cold - for liquid water to exist on a planet. Liquid water is essential for life.

➢ Understanding the characteristics of Earth is important, because it can provide us important knowledge
about why it is so unique than any other planet in the solar system. We must understand this aspect of our
planet, because first of all this is our home, we should care and preserve it no matter what. Understanding
the characteristics of our planet, means understanding its weather systems, global temperature, natural
phenomenon and the its complex mechanism, that is why it is very critical for us.

➢ The presence of water on earth is the one that I like the most because without it I can’t imagine how the life of
the living things will do to survive. As we all know it water is one of kind and something that we could care
about.
Activity 3
Earth is a unique planet and capable of sustaining life because of the right combination of elements, molecules and
ions that react under the right physical conditions to make the processes supportive to life. Earth is the third planet in
the solar system. It is considered to be one of the inner planets next to Venus. The distance of earth from the sun is 93
million miles and takes 500 seconds for sunlight to reach the earth surface and also the distance of earth from the sun is
enough to support all the living things in the planet earth. The earth atmosphere is the gaseous layer that envelops the
earth. It regulates the planet’s surface temperature. Most of the elements that makes up the atmosphere is nitrogen at
about 78%.the earth size plays a vital role in keeping its life support system afloat. The size of the planet earth is directly
related to its gravitational pull. The acceleration due to gravity helps the planet maintain its atmosphere. Earth is a big
ball of magnet. Its geographic north serves as its magnetic south and its geographic south serves as its magnetic north.
The region around earth dominated by magnetic field called magnetosphere that extends to about 65, 000 km in space.
Earth magnetic properties are the result of its internal activities involving electric current flowing in the molten core
made possible by its rotation. three fourth of the earth’s surface are covered with water due to hydrologic cycle. Earth
has the right amount of water to keep its habitability. Water has a cooling effect due to its heat capacity. It has the
capacity to absorb heat without raising its own temperature. As result, life on earth will be benefited by the cooling
effect of water.

Activity 5
1. Biosphere – Biosphere, relatively thin life-supporting stratum of Earth’s surface, extending from a few kilometers
into the atmosphere to the deep-sea vents of the ocean. The biosphere is a global ecosystem composed of living
organisms (biota) and the abiotic (nonliving) factors from which they derive energy and nutrients.
2. Hydrologic Cycle – the general pattern of movement of water from the sea to the land and back again to the sea.
3. Hydrosphere – Hydrosphere, discontinuous layer of water at or near Earth’s surface. It includes all liquid and
frozen surface waters, groundwater held in soil and rock, and atmospheric water vapor
4. Interconnection – A mutual connection between two or more things. 'the complex interconnections between
people's lives in modern society.
5. Life-Support System – Life-support system, any mechanical device that enables a person to live and usually work
in an environment such as outer space or underwater in which he could not otherwise function or survive for any
appreciable amount of time.
6. Lithosphere – The lithosphere is the solid, outer part of the Earth. The lithosphere includes the brittle upper portion
of the mantle and the crust, the outermost layers of Earth's structure.
7. Convection – Convection is the transfer of heat by the movement of a fluid (liquid or gas) between areas of different
temperature.
8. Precipitation – In meteorology, precipitation is any product of the condensation of atmospheric water vapor that
falls under gravity from clouds. The main forms of precipitation include drizzle, rain, sleet, snow, ice pellets, graupel
and hail.

9. Solar Energy – Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving
technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants
and artificial photosynthesis.
10. Subsystem – a small system contained in bigger or broader one.
Activity 6
Reflection Paper
After reading the lesson I learned that the earth has four subsystem which includes geosphere, hydrosphere,
atmosphere and biosphere. The natural interactions that exist among these subsystems, make life possible on earth. For
example, biosphere encompasses all life forms on earth from the smallest to the biggest organism on earth. It feels great
to gained new knowledge especially about the four subsystems because this an ideal planet that a person could ever had
but without the proper caring of these four subsystems this ideal planet would start to fall like how climate change
affects the earth’s temperature.
a. Geosphere – The geosphere is the earth itself: the rocks, minerals, and landforms of the surface and interior.
Below the crust - which varies in depth from about 5 km beneath the ocean floor to up to 70 km below the
land surface, temperatures are high enough for deformation and a paste-like flow of elements. At one time,
roughly 200 million years ago, the continents were joined together in a supercontinent called Pangaea, but
since then tectonic plates have slowly separated, creating the arrangement of the continents we are
accustomed to today. Plate tectonic movement is ongoing, and humans can witness its sometimes-violent
activity in the form of earthquakes and volcanoes. More regularly, however, human interaction with the
dynamic geosphere comes in the form of surface erosion, our use of arable land for farming, and excavations
for the construction of buildings, roads, and mines.
b. Atmosphere – Energy Flow in the Atmosphere The sun radiates the main source of energy that reaches
Earth’s surface. Solar radiation heats Earth’s surface unevenly. This uneven heating causes the air in the
atmosphere to move. For example, cold air is denser than warm air. So, cold air in the atmosphere sinks.
As the cold air sinks, it forces warm, less-dense air out of the way. This movement of air distributes energy
throughout the atmosphere. The transfer of energy, especially heat, due to the movement of matter, such as
air, is called convection.
c. Hydrosphere – The sun’s energy heats ocean water unevenly. Thus, the temperature of the water varies.
The temperature of ocean water ranges from warm at the equator to near freezing at the poles. The
temperature of ocean water also decreases with depth. Differences in temperature cause differences in
density. The salt in ocean water also affects the density of ocean water. Differences in the density of ocean
water cause the water to move by convection. This movement of matter caused by differences in density is
called a convection current. Convection currents distribute energy in the ocean.
d. Biosphere – Energy enters the biosphere as sunlight. Plants change this energy into chemical energy
through the process of photosynthesis. Then, the energy is passed to organisms that eat the plants. Energy
and matter are also passed between organisms when they eat one another. The transfer of energy and matter
does not stop when a living thing dies. Dead organisms are consumed by decomposers, such as bacteria and
fungi. The decomposers break down the remains into simple materials. These materials, such as carbon
dioxide, are used by plants to make food during photosynthesis
1. The geosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and atmosphere. Together, they make up all of the components of our
planet, both living and non-living. And while we can describe each individually in terms of its properties and
features, you'd have a difficult time finding an example where one sphere doesn't either touch or interact with at
least one other. This is important because these interactions are what drive Earth's processes. Material on Earth
doesn't stay how it is. It gets recycled into other phases and forms. Plants in the ground die, and as they are broken
down by microorganisms, they become soil, which can then feed new plants. Water cycles through different phases
and locations, like when it evaporates from the oceans and then rains down onto the ground or into a lake. Rock
also gets recycled under Earth's surface, where it is melted down and then sent back up in volcanic eruptions. So,
now that you know why this is important, let's look at some examples of how these interactions occur between the
four spheres of Earth.
Pretty much any event on Earth is going to involve more than one sphere. Let's look at a fairly simple example to
begin with: volcanoes. Volcano eruptions are events in the geosphere because this is both rock being pushed out
from under the surface as well as a change in the surface land itself. Volcanoes also spew a lot of gas and particulate
matter into the atmosphere, as well as send hot lava flowing down mountainsides, disrupting the biosphere. Water
will condense around that particulate matter in the atmosphere, so now we've involved the hydrosphere as well.
You can see how this 'simple' example quickly got quite complicated. Humans use a variety of natural resources to
generate power, such as plant material, oil, natural gas, wind, water and sunlight. You can see right away that we've
involved all of the spheres already, even before we started talking about how we harness these resources! We use
corn for ethanol (the biosphere), oil and natural gas for heating homes and fueling cars (the geosphere) and the wind
(the atmosphere) and water (the hydrosphere) for electricity.
2. Humans impact the physical environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burning fossil fuels, and
deforestation. Changes like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality, and undrinkable
water. These negative impacts can affect human behavior and can prompt mass migrations or battles over clean
water.

2. The fact that I being a straightforward person makes me different from my friends and classmates.
3. If someone talk something bad about me, I will ask myself what did I do to him or her to talk something bad about
me.
4. If they talk something good at me it is because I value what the person that are part of my life and I would thank

5. One of my biggest weakness is being rejected while I am proving myself to become the better version of myself
and being left by the one that I cared the most.

What’s More
Reflection – Who am I
I will start off by saying that I am a consistently developing person and have evolved a tremendous amount. Of
course, I was the same in terms of aesthetics, but unambiguously different in a purely psychological sense. Despite the
positive changes that have occurred within me, inadequacy and a great deal of idiosyncrasies have been present in my life
and literally shun my potential of being something other than the misanthropic cynical disaster than I am today. I prefer
observing people rather than speaking to them. To me, socializing is exhausting and requires a great deal of energy that I
do not have it's like having to perform and I don't have the freedom to be myself and do not feel comfortable around others.
I primarily enjoy being alone and dread the thought of putting on a fake smile and pretending all is well when it isn't. I've
noticed that this is how everyone is expected to act; content. Happiness is normal. Anything deviant from average conduct
and thought is almost immediately labelled as weird, crazy and freakish; merely because the latter does not understand and
takes no time to consider the circumstances of the individual.
I am a person that will continuously change, and I will leave room for myself to do so. I am an immensely open-
minded individual who enjoys debating on the many controversial topics that exist in our world. I am a creative thinker, and
a dreamer. I value intelligence, and find it to be the most attractive trait that a person can have. I hope one day to travel to
many places and see all that this beautiful world has to offer. I enjoy art, philosophical conversations and deep sentimental

What is it
1. According to hazel Angels (2016) a man’s Emotions shaped his personality he needs to establish emotional stability
to develop his whole person. A man needs to develop his physical health through eating the right food and regular
exercise. At the same time, he needs to enhanced his spiritual relationship and connection with the world around
him through prayers and mediations. man has to cultivate his social relationship interaction with others as social
being and psychologically portray certain image of himself to others and the last a man need to manage his
professional life and happiness because these two are closely linked. Man should know how to manage time and
stress.

2. Make a collage out of the picture and describe briefly how the following changes occurred:
a. Physical – Aside from acne and increase in body odor, the most prominent physical changes that occur to
adolescents are maturing of the genital organs or puberty.
b. Psychological - Psychosocial changes. Linked to the hormonal and neurodevelopmental changes that are
taking place are psychosocial and emotional changes and increasing cognitive and intellectual capacities.
Over the course of the second decade, adolescents develop stronger reasoning skills, logical and moral
thinking, and become more capable of abstract thinking and making rational judgements. Also, they are
more able to take other people’s perspectives into consideration and often want to do something about the
social issues that they encounter in their lives. At the same time, adolescents are developing and
consolidating their sense of self. With this increasing self-identity, including their development of sexual
identity, comes growing concern about other people’s opinions, particularly those of their peers. Also,
adolescents want greater independence and responsibility. They increasingly want to assert more autonomy
over their decisions, emotions and actions and to disengage from parental control. Their social and cultural
environment importantly affects how adolescents express this desire for autonomy. Younger adolescents
may be particularly vulnerable when their capacities are still developing and at the same time they begin to
move outside the confines of their families and start taking independent decisions—ranging from who they
spend time with to what food they eat.
c. Social - Identity, Young people are busy working out who they are and where they fit in the world. You
might notice your child trying out new things like clothing styles, music, art or friendship groups. Friends,
family, media, culture and more shape your child’s choices in these years. Independence, Your child will
probably want more independence about things like how he gets to places, how he spends his time, who he
spends time with, and what he spends money on. As your child becomes more independent, it’ll probably
mean some changes in your family routines and relationships, as well as your child’s friendships.
Responsibility, Your child might be keen to take on more responsibility both at home and at school. This
could include things like cooking dinner once a week or being on the school council. New experiences,
Your child is likely to look for new experiences, including risky experiences. This is normal as your child
explores her own limits and abilities, as well as the boundaries you set. She also needs to express herself as
an individual. But because of how teenage brains develop, your child might sometimes struggle with
NAME: JOBERT L. QUIŃONES YEAR & SECTION: GRADE 11
thinking through consequences and risks before he tries something new. Values, this is the time your child
starts to develop a stronger individual set of values and morals. She’ll question more things, and she’s also
learning that she’s responsible for her own actions, decisions and consequences. Your words and actions
help shape your child’s sense of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’. Influences, Your child’s friends and peers might
influence your child, particularly his behavior, appearance, interests, sense of self and self-esteem. You still
have a big influence on long-term things like your child’s career choices, values and morals. Sexual
identity, Your child might start to have romantic relationships or go on ‘dates’. But these aren’t always
intimate relationships. For some young people, intimate or sexual relationships don’t occur until later on in
life. Media, The internet, mobile phones and social media can influence how your child communicates with
friends and learns about the world.
d. Behavioral – Behaviorally, adolescence is associated with volatile emotions and boundary-testing behavior
as individuals explore and assert personal identity, learn to navigate peer relationships, and transition to
independence. The strongest stereotypes of adolescence are portrayed in countless television shows and
movies: the emergence of sexual interest and behavior, and decision-making dilemmas.
e. Spiritual - Adolescence age is after teenage, in this age, you are little more matured, you leave out your
pranks, and start learning to pray. Depending on how you have been brought up, your praying might vary.
Previous to this age, you might be praying but it would all have been one-sided, meaning you would
ask/demand and forget. But in adolescence, you also start attaching to whom you are praying. You don’t
just demand and forget, instead you start expecting a communication/event back, you might even try to
search for the hints or clues from God or other power in connection to you. You may also start taking
interest into subjects like numerology, astrology and palmistry. It would not be a surprise that somewhere
you might also pray to God to give you a life-partner of your choice/dream.
What’s New
Middle adolescence
➢ As I grow, I see how my body changes dramatically and also my relationship with others change as well.
Late adolescence
➢ As I enter on the late adolescence stage, I am now sure of my identity and my responsibility as well this makes
sense that as I enter this stage of development, I am now becoming the better version of myself.
1. Our everyday life demands setting goal, establishing relationship and fighting for what you need and want.
2. Memories and feelings that come up and some of the are happy and sad. I am who I am because my parents, siblings,
friends, teachers, classmates, peers and significant others are the one who helped shaped as to what am I today.
3. Early adolescence, middle adolescence and late adolescence. In early adolescent stage, a child experiences
significant physical and sexual maturation, shows concrete thinking, grows in independence; increase influence of
peers and experiment in new ways. In middle adolescence, continued physical and sexual changes, abstract thinking,
development of sense of identity and an increase on sexual interest are observed. In late adolescence, the physical
and sexual changes are complete, capacity for abstract thought are formed, sense of identity is established and has
develop serious intimate relationship

their body is rapid growth of bones and muscles, growth of pubic hair and the enlargement off breast. According to
them as they grow mature their belief on how they view life change as well like how they do their responsibility
because they say that they are not the child anymore who are not afraid of failure. And lastly, the way they socialize
with peers are different especially on the boys because they felt like they are not the kids as it was before and
developing of an intimate relationship between them is one of the significant events that a mature girl could have.
