Nowadays people know the price of everything but the value of nothing – The Picture of Dorian

As a spoiled boy amidst a huge, loving, business family, growing up in a small city, this was
very apt. everything I wanted, I got. I knew the price of everything, but not its value.
I completed my 10th grade with a 7.4 CGPA. I studied finance, and accounting and graduated
my 12th grade with 74.31%. I took up Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in
Finance and International business, with a current aggregate of 66%. I also believe that if I get
trained and educated according to the university standards, I can turn out to be a profound
resource and contribute to the society.
(had the opputunity)I was also an active member of the Finance Club at the University helping to
organize seminars, panel discussions, and debates on important financial topics. To increase my
technical financial knowledge, I learnt Tally and advanced Excel. I have successfully completed
interning in three different firms in the Accounts department and various other departments. I
interned at Abhinav Trans Cargo Pvt Ltd. and at Bata Pvt Ltd. AT Bata, I spent 3 weeks in the
Business Valuation team. My final year research project was on the Efficiency of Supply-chain
management of perishable items.
My interest towards the course (M.Sc. Accounts) developed when I graduated 12th grade with a
merit certificate in Accountancy. Over the course of time, I kept developing more interest as my
Under-graduate course focused more on Accounts as a subject. I have successfully completed
interning in three different firms in the Accounts department and various other departments. The
ideal factor that influenced my decision and cleared my vision about pursuing a course overseas
was the thought about the amount of fun that I will experience studying in an environment which
celebrates diversity. The thought of experiencing a completely new culture excites me at a very
high level.
The price of my education I know, but the value for it cannot be measured in any terms. I have
been analyzing people and accounts over the last three years, and I would love to learn how to
incorporate finance in everything I do. Being a financial analyst helps me put a price, and a
reason for that price, on things. But with more life lessons, I will be able to place a value on
everything and anything.
